Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

Washed my Corolla today with turtle rinsefree wash and waxed with Platinum wax.

My neighbour and my family thinks i need a mental treatment - I am crazy.

They are like " These all mfa and stuff are useless, pehle bhi cars saaf hoti thi without these" -.-
How can one explain them

Hhahaha mental treatment jin ko nai Pata hota vo detailing ko just polish samajthey hain but actually ye Aik addiction hai, mene cosmic k baad jab megs kit lia tha mere friends keh rhe they k saare theeen hazaaar ka polish aur cloths? But now I am much satisfied and saving money now for dodo and pinaccle

Same thing happens with me Daily.
Even when I cover my car there is a thick dust on cover so on removing the cover all dust comes on my hands and clothes and I hate this. Please tell me a proper solution.

i know what you mean, too familiar with car covers, while taking it off, fold the sides towards the centre so that now no outside part is showing and inside part is doubled up, then start from the back and roll it like carpet, as only the inside side is in contact with the car and also your hands now you wont get dust anywhere and no scratches on car either, before putting cover on, get a person to hold the cover and move it up and down to dust it.

this will at least minimise your problem, however if you really want to care for your finish then you'll just have to keep a spray detailer in your hand, if thats trying i suggest you hand it using the trigger in the pocket of your jeans or trousers, like a gun holster lol

my first try of the Pinnacle crystal mist detail spray with carnauba, first impressions were the trigger was the best i have yet to come across, the trigger action was so well damped it felt much more premium than meguiars or dodo etc triggers, the spray pattern itself is strong but very even one or two squirts are enough to cover a decent sized panel, the product itself really does encalpusate dirt really well, and leaves a cleaner more like "just washed" finish then other detailers,carnauba really adds visible depth, and the whole experience is super easy, spray it on move mf in straight lines to pick up dirt turn over and lightly buff to remove the carnuba, no hard work required,

i used to think pinnacle as a bit of overpriced company but this is begging me to differ:)
results after the spray

one more coat of dodo soft wax is remaining to bring out the depth otherwise its sealant protected

Osama bhai! Thak gya hu kasmay ragar ragar k roz gari mf se ub tou my family and my neighbours think i'm mad and need some special treatment...?lol... Even my father says " itna mat ragra karo paint nikal jae ga kisi din "  any way i had tried an air blower but that dont work the way i wanted 

get a pressure washer perhaps of B n D that comes with foam lance bottle, just spray the foam n then spray water, a quick wash at home

or else as suggested the turtle rinse free spray

lastly cover your car

i also tried the blower, it really isnt effective
my car is black so i can see dust settling as soon as i finish cleaning it up but i cant clean it daily

btw y dont u use some sealant after a proper detailing session, 3m's pf was used on my bonnet n when it was washed, there was beading on the car, all water gone down itself, which means just throw a bucket of water on car n park it on a slope, it'll clean itself

well it was a kind of wash mitt but now they wont start using mf's n all
though i have seen them using different clothes for different parts of the body n at some stations they use good clothes as well

** Don't have a degreaser so engine bay was cleaned the hardway... some spots might still be there ._.

Yea exactly.
Actually they really doesn't care. What people see a clean swirly finish of car that's it.

Lets come to the swirls, if you show them they'll be like "purani hogyi car 2-3 saal, ye to atey hyn" -.-

THank you...pressure is very good...it can easily rinse off the dirt even the tough one undercarriage... try buying it from any garden store, you will get it cheaper and good quality

Detailed my honda city 2011....it took me almost 4 hours as i had to do it all alone.....
Products used:
Astonish Crystal Clear wash and wax Rs 200
Formula 1 Carnauba wax (Liquid) Rs 500
Formula 1 Interior Protectant Rs 340
I have used some high end products but these products are not bad either...as I get my car waxed every 3rd or 4th day i find these products quite good. ...
