Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

My car bonnet has small soot marks (Probably tar) which I can't remove even though I've tried washing the bonnet with Shampoo and detergent. Someone suggested that I use a Clay Kit. It won't affect the paint and the marks would be removed as well. Where can I find this kit in Lahore and what's the price? Are there experts who can do the 'claying' for me?

The use of a tar specific removing agent is better than claying becuase while claying that particular spot you might end up rubbing the tar all over while the rest is being removed. This will induce quite a few scratches. Contact usman aka vagueone for the help especially because you havent done this before and learn the procedure from him of claying properly...

the products u use are great but some how inner deep gloss is missing in paint :S try meguiars dc polish , good massage and topup with ur ultimate wax
trust me u will lost in deep gloss

but the other khyber/swift in 2nd pic is not in a good nick and fully painted except roof..

Thank you for your hospitality. Really Usman bhai is gem of a person.
Visited DC Studio today and met Usman bhai for first time and I must say he treated me as if I'd known him for many years.
Not to mention he gave me free APC and also worked with clay on my car. Taught me to wet sand as well, though I ruined the paint but none the less mera wet sanding ka chaska utar gya. Pro ka kam pro ko e sajjey !

Now after 3 coats of wax and detailer spray the results are improving exponentialy..

Indeed they are improving! MashAllah! Dont over do it my man, its gettin good, just down cut the duck up in search of the golden eggs!

"Probably" does not work here, if yer near any senior guy on this thread, pop over an show yer car to them an get an idea of what the marks are. Remove tar with clay only if you know what yer doin! Clay kits start around 2.5k onwards, an plenty of shops stock them in Lahore. Tons of people here who can do it, or your most welcome to pop over to me an I`ll teach it to you.
