As far as I can guess from the pictures, paint is gone. That white compound was most probably too harsh.You can't feel it via the nail method since the paint didn't "chip" off. There is little you can do now with waxes or any other sort of protection material.

I hope I am wrong and there is no damage done.

P.S: You really need to address that wiper tray if you aren't a wash n wax detailer.

You are right regarding tray. The car has been neglected for the last 6 months n remained parked mostly. I ll do something about it

Well... I don't have much experience regarding such an issue. Assuming the compound has gone down to bare metal or real deep into the primer, I guess you can apply paint in two or three layers with a cotton swab, let it stay there for a few days and then even it out with an abrasive.

I have done this to cure paint thinning over pillar edges on an old car, and it worked. But in your case the surface is flat and the cause is excessive use of an abrasive, so not sure.

Try fix it pro mrker on it, i am afraid it wont go completely no matter what ever u do , but this is my opinion , let someone else suggest somethng. Its kinda paint peeled off. May be qalam will somehow dim it

Does that fix it pro pen works for real? I thot it is just a marketing gimmick.

Oh wel thanks alot sir 'mike philips' for the wonderful corrections you made out there in my cleaning methods. I saw the pictures which you uploaded here and by looking at them i am very happy with my illogical reasonings and ofcourse my 'dust free maintainence' as well.
I have seen, purchased and used lots of brand new cars alhumdulilah but i have never seen swirls on them which need polishing. And, i stil wnt seal a brand new car until it has lived up with our environmental stressors for a month atleast .

I'm using a portable vacuum cleaner, it's Turkish made of Sinbo brand, connects in the lighter point. Pretty good for cleaning once every 2 weeks.

Tried to clean engine bay today
Showered with meg apc, then agitating with different brushes and kapra...
Not upto the mark, but satisfactory for me

u should have used megs engine dressing afterwards then it might go shiny

Seems like whatever you did to clean/remove the bird crap from the hood made it go from bad to worse. Visit a reputed detailer in your area to get advice. Seems to me it needs paint fixing now.

if the paint is gone then use a thin layer of matched paint wet sand it and compound afterwards
