the result i got from 500 rs is not comparable with that detailing done in 5000 rs but its very near to that, & i m not expert this car is old n low price so i did not spend a lot on it

I was planning to buy orbital polisher/buffer, like ones available in metro karachi. Is it safe to do ribbon polish using this machine. Also is ribbon polish actually compound polish.
Another thing, normally people say wax polish but I am confused. Is it wax coating and polish is ssome thing else.

While I agree with your logic, if the difference in quality is not day and night, there is no point in spending 4-5 times the cost on a big name product.

I tell myself the same everytime I am out for shopping and do the same again... lol

In comparison to Meguiars here is the result of a new (in the market) wax which has not been used by many here yet, 1/3rd the price of Meguiars on my 6 year old Black Civic. Im not saying which one is better. Just posting for true side by side comparison. It is still beading and repelling dirt stuff and water even after constant rains of lahore that took place during past two weeks.
Despite craving to wax my car due to weekend, i passed the decision for 3rd consecutive weekend looking at the surface visibly showing today its not at all required at the moment.

Khan sahib the wax name has already offended many people here who use expensive stuff. As they rank it poor and substandard (without having tried it) because of another product from the same company locally available and fakes around for that old brand of theirs. My apologies to all as i am going to mention it again. I would request all brothers not to criticise and mis guide others if you have not tried the product.
This specific one i have used and tried is the new series from same company
Its called "Formula1 Premium" (black packing)

I got it from Jalal Sons Lahore for Rs.630/- while another fellow got it for Rs.750/- from Faisalabad. Not yet available that commonly. Some car accessory shops have not even heard about it.

turtle's black box is also pretty good for black colour, contains pre cleaner wax, carnuba wax and 2 detailer sprays
used that as well as megs no26 n gold class
result was good from all of these though GC attracts alot of dust

From where can one get these products in ISB/RWP? Do you have to order them? Is there any shop in ISB/RWP that has them?
I've searched Green Valley Bahria Town and Metro Islamabad but couldn't find these products at all.

Any help would be appreciated!
