I dont typically suggest using ultimate compound by hand even, if you aren't aware of how the diminishing abrassive system works, the pressure you need to use, how the yellow foam is not helpful, how much section area and so many other aspects that can lead you to:

yea that can happen even by hand n without a rotary
i used ultimate compound in supervision n with a even coat applicator on a smaller area, that worked fine

can desi compound remove those water marks?
since ultimate compound is hardly ever needed so i got a compound in open packing, the one that painters use
since i dont have that white pad, so i used simple yellow cloth instead n kept spraying water to remove a scratch while testing this compound, it kind of felt messing up the paint so after lots of force, finally it went fine, now this was without supervision
never tried that compound again
btw should water be sprayed or not?n simple yellow cloth is fine for it? megs yellow foam pad is for waxing n not compound/polish

bro claying cannot remove that faded type color look from the paint it can clean it for u it can remove dirt,oxidation,overspray etc but it cant bring in that crystal clear mirror finish which compound can do! compound gives a fresh look to the paint like totally revived no matt look finishes or anything

clay removes the contamination from the paint, over spray can be removed by easy way i.e clay n also by hard way i.e compound
how ever compound removes a layer of paint as well to bring out the shine, so it isnt adding anything but removing a layer to bring out the inner fresh layer and if there isnt much of clear coat then using compound wont be that helpful like in case of my car

Anyone here has used Collinite wax ? I just used it on my car trunk for test purpose. I waxed on Sunday and one thing i can say for sure till now, it is a Dust Magnet. I just washed the trunk again and will see how it goes from this point onwards. Maybe the wax was fresh and it attracts more dust than others. Previously I used Mcquire High Tech Yellow Wax and 3M Wax and they do not attract that much dust.

i have also used no 26 wax n collinite as well
collinite doesnt attracts more dust esp in comparison to no26
u must have rubbed more building a charge, give it a wipe of QD n see how that works

try gold class n then u'll know whats a dust magnet, u can see dust of 3 days in just one day

cant say anything about 476 but i have used 875 in march on my car and its still going strong...

875 is a new wax by collinite? I used marque de elegance on my cars and it attracts dust like magnet but it is durable

What i have understood by reading diff forums on net , 476 is more durable than 845. Just for info, i am lucky enough to use collinite marine waxes range on diff platforms and trust me they are matchless , hell durable. Its been used by nato forces operating in all oceans around the world and a patronized store item for them.
