First of all make sure you have washed car thoroughly so drying towel doesn't get dirty.
A waxed car will bead water and it would be easier to dry it due to water repulsion. Just let the car drip dry for a while or you can "sheet" the water off by using very less to no pressure on a panel. Start with horizontal panels. With the water pipe, use slow passes to form a sheet which will eventually flow down removing majority of water. Do the remaining panels. Then start drying from roof, then vertical panels(doors, fenders etc) and then the remaining panels(hood, trunk etc). Try it the next time you wash. Another way would be to use an air blower.
Also, make sure you wash new mf towels as they tend to attract dust when left open or if packing is not airtight.
