Ok, so first of all make sure you have washed the car thoroughly so the drying towel doesn't get dirty. A waxed car will bead water and it would be easier to dry it due to water repulsion. Just let the car drip dry for a while or you can "sheet" the water off by using slow passes with water pipe(very less to no pressure) on a panel. The water will form a sheet that will gradually flow down leaving very less water behind. You can start this on horizontal panels(trunk, hood etc) then do vertical panels(doors, fenders etc). The water left behind can be dabbed to suck it up and after this you have a dry car that is ready for waxing.

*Do wash any new microfiber towel (whether its a drying towel, waxing towel etc) because they are usually lying around in the shop and do tend to attract dust and hold on to it untill you wash it properly with detergent. That may also help with streaks.
