Yes, if you read on Megiuaires Online, they recommend using the clay on windscreens/glasses and then wheels before throwing them away. Just to be clear in this order:

1. Paint work
2. Glasses
3. Wheels

And then throw them away, but ofcourse you knew it anyway!

Replace tints bro . Get Spectrum tints or 3m .

As you mentioned you are a detail freak then i am.assuming you must have used almost all top of the line products. I wanted to know is there any way of Removing scratches and swirls from tints. Or If I have yo replace them is there any High Grade branded tinted papers available i karachi how much do they cost.? Have you ever tried detailing glasses with tints?

Hi all,

Sharing a 2013 Honda Civic (43k Kms driven) that we detailed. This car had 2 years of dry cloth wipe damage such as swirls and scracthes that had to be removed.

Equipment & Products used:
1. Karcher K3
2. DA polisher
3. Meguiars Claybar
4. Meguiars Ultimate Compound
5. Dodo Juice Lime Prime Pre Wax Cleaner
6. Auto Finese Tough Coat Sealent
7. Meguiars No. 26 Yellow Paste Wax
8. APC
9. A lot of Meguiars & Turtle detailing spray... as the cars paint was really very coarse to touch, it had to be clayed very well!

I dont have much BEFORE pics... but I guess most of you understand how usually people keep cars and how they dust dirt off them with a dry cloth!

The LEFT side of the hood is not polished and the right side is.. notice the swirls in the left side. You can see the reflection of the bulbs in the ceiling much clearer on the right!

Bro I once had some water spots on the side mirror. They weren't even coming off with a glass cleaner. As I had no prior knowledge about detailing at that moment, so I used dishwashing liquid and it did the job quite well. Have you tried a glass cleaner on it yet? If not than you can try it but don't let that drip onto your paint, as it will strip of wax layer or sealant. You can ask other member's for their advice also

Carpex degreaser and Chemical guys APC and a lot of brushing...

Becareful with the carpex though.. it can be damaging easily

After washing the windows, clay them with a clay bar and use a dedicated water spot remover polish on DA or rotary polisher for best and quick results..

Rubbing with hands is sometimes not powerful enough
