Ive recently ordered Sonax car polish and Formula 1 Carnauba car wax!
Just wanted to ask the best method to apply polish by hand?

if i were you I'd run down all the fabric inside the car, including the carpet with Astonish Fabric Refreshener or similar if available. its relatively cheaper process compared to activated charcoal (aka odor eliminator)

Thats tiny.... you can easily take that off with a polish. zbetter yet, a meguiars or turtle scratch remover should do the job.

Ok guys, left with a tad bit of Meg's plast X, And since I've gotten a new bottle, will use this up on some pw'ers car's. So I will be heading over to Peshawar this coming weekend. If anyone wants to get rid of that yellow haze from their headlights, pm or text me.

Note:

First 3 people to send me a pm or text (03459110035) get their headlights restored.
Members from Peshawar only.
This is just to remove the haze from the headlights. No light or deep scratches will be removed.
Plastic Headlights only.
Venue will be decided when I reach. I live in U-Town, so if you live far off, be ready to hop in your car and head over there.

We can decide on the time when I reach peshawar IA.

And its FREE so dont worry

Hello Guys .
I am not a newbie into detailing but need a bit help lol . My car is all detailed up except for the windows edges got those dirt trapped and well i dont have Apc at the moment can anyone tell me what else i can use to remove these permenent dust marks on the edges of Glass ? Check out the pics!

Do you have detailing brushes? APC is the best bet here.

Btw, a detailing brush should easily get those out even while you are cleaning the car with a shampoo. A layman would use surf etc and those will work too but you will end up drying up the rubber surrounds and any protection coating on the paint.

Yes i do have them and tried the same but i did not work seems like these marks have become permenent .

I have some CG apc. We can give it a shot when I get back to peshawar on the weekend. There is somthing else with me too that we can try. But let me first check it on a old car first and see if it works.

As per my experience of maxshine clay bar... I got a good result... it removes yoo much contamination from my 32 years old car, which is with me from 26 years... here are the results..

Clay bar.. contaminations from roof n hood...

After clay.. n washing..

Previously car paint is too rough... now smooth as silk...

Will do again a claying session for more uniformity n share results...

Once I read on this forum that if u place a bowl of vinegar in the car for whole nite, the smell will b gone. So, did same. In morning, there was no that strange smell, but a smell of vinegar. For that, kept my car in direct sun light for 2 hours..... and vinegar smell gone too.

The thing is, if the source of the smell is still present inside the car, no matter what you do, the smell will return when you park the car and close all the windows. The best thing to do is get rid of the source first (the type of smell can identify the source: water accumulation under carpet linings, rotten food under seats, spilled iquids on the seats/carpets etc). Once that is done, a bowl of vinegar, charcoal or even a soda mixture will remove the smell. But the quick option is a Odor eliminator followed by some fragrance (you can go branded or get those Chinese bottles etc depending on how much you are willing to spend).

apc cannt remove hard tars so you should use Meguairs Tar & Mud Remover for permanent solution
