Use any "reasonable" washing powder. My microfibers go in my washing machine separate from other clothes with Tide powder on a quick wash.

Use any "reasonable" washing powder. My microfibers go in my washing machine separate from other clothes with Tide powder on a quick wash.

My experiance with Tide is very very bad ! It ruined my microfibers but on the other hand used normal soup a.k.a sufi soap n it really revived the microfibers as they contained natural fats so i'll recommend not to use any Surf... They got strong detergents, use mild soaps... Try urself u'll feel the difference

Guys I have just found out that daraz.pk has stocked some turtle wax and zymol products. The also have microfiber cloths. The prices are pretty decent. Do check it out.

+1. using sufi soap to wash my micro fiber. they are still soft like new even after usage of about 3 months.

That clarifies one thing that Tide is a definitely better quality washing powder in Saudi Arabia than in Pakistan. Alhamdullilah, my 2 year old mfs still come out fresh...

We bring our tide from Abu dhabi !!

I got tide from ksa too, I just leave away my mfs overnight with some tide in a bucket which are rinsed in the morning without any brutal wringing. they're good as new.

The place where u went to get ur car washed, "Shinex" is also owned by a pakwheeler. Infact Sheroze bhai learned detailing from this thread and from senior members. He uses proper wash and wax shampoo with foam canon (mainly meguiars hyper wash) and secondly swirls are caused by dry dusting.
Now coming to the point, you can get decent products from turtle wax range in fairly good price which would last long. Regarding the polish, I have used sonax super liquid wax, which comes in the same packing, gives decent results but somehow doesn't lasts long. I have no experience with the above mentioned product but I would still recommend you to go for Meg Ultimate Polish, as I feel your paint lacks depth that is why you are not getting that wet look, Ultimate Polish will mildly clean the paint and the rich polishing oils will nourish the paint and give it a wet look. Always wax/seal up your work with a quality wax/sealant.
If your windshield is getting swirls than try to clean the viper blade with a damp cloth and never do dry dusting on it. It really becomes a pain in the *** while driving at night. Any decent glass cleaner will do the job regarding cleaning.
For tires the most cheapest is 7CF spray Rs.120 or you can use turtle f21 ultra wet tire shine which will cost u Rs. 650.
I think your process is right, rest I will leave it to the experts.

i inspected the car of @Maddriver we had quite a nice chat

upon inspecting i noticed the car was freshly detailed and had undergone heavy compounding as i didnt see any major swirls on the body. and paint looked clean and shiny....
i advised the guy to have his car washed clayed and then dodo lime prime to boost the shine and hide minor imperfections and have it waxed either by collonite or temptation wax...
after that the owner would require regular waxing sessions.which he can do him self...

What should we do with excess shampoo solution? I am always left with a quarter of bucket of Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss solution. Should I drain it or keep it in empty bottles for future use?
