Can you recommend a good cleaner? preferrably one without strong smell or oily/shiny finish

Cleaners usually don't have an oily finish. Poor quality protectants usually have an oily/shiny finish.
Try Wash Mist as a cleaner and Luxury Leather for protection. Luxury Leather will not leave an oily finish, and the good thing is you can apply it on plastic and vinyl parts.

How long should we leave wax on car before we remove it with microfiber towel? Someone on youtube says 30 mins while some say 2-3 mins, it's very confusing. As per my very limited knowledge of detailing cars, leaving wax for too long will eventually get hard and won't be easily removed and will ruin paint work ultimately. Is this right? Btw I have Maguirs Cleaner wax.

Every wax is different and each one of them have different drying time. You should take manufacturer's recommendation as a baseline. Then adjust the drying time according to your environment. It can vary based on temperature, and humidity levels.

when it comes to dye transfer its 50/50 if the dye transfer will get removed but a Good Leather cleaner like koch chemie Mzr and some gentle agitation with a Magic eraser should get it out

In my experience, hardly after 5 minutes. 30 minutes is too much time and it becomes very difficult to take the wax off if it hardens up. My rule of thumb is to slide my index finger on the waxed panel, if the wax is dry, you’ll observe your finger taking some dry wax particles off. That’s when i clean the panel up.

If it’s still wet, you’ll see that your finger will slip like the panel is greased. Wait for it to dry up. I’m in lahore and the collinite, meguairs, woolfgang i use dries up in 5-7 minutes.

Some waxes do have 30~40 min of drying time, like 3D HD Poxy. So it's better to read the directions and get a baseline from there. From there, a swipe test will confirm the exact time duration based on your weather conditions.

Also, not all waxes dry, so in those cases the swipe test will not work. All you have to do is rely on manufacturer's directions.

Yeah because poxy is an easy to wipe off sealant/wax and even its drying time is 15-20 at the max. Most waxes do not wipe off easily after 20/30 minutes.

Which wax does not dry up?

I remember one of the local wax "Harris Premium Paste Wax" do not dry no matter how long you wait. I think there are others as well but I can't remember now

The correct word you are looking for is hazing. Once the wax has dried you see a haze on the paint. Haze will show like a slight "unclear" chemical layer on top of paint. This means the wax is ready to be wiped off.

If you are unsure from the manufacturer's instructions or Youtube videos, do a small panel and observe its drying behaviour. Wipe it using a clean microfibre instead of bare hands.

Rule of thumb; try and avoid touching any chemicals with bare hands, as we dont know what impact they can have on our skin.

MG HS manual says not to use petroleum based cleaners and main ingredient in Mzr is ethanol, so a bit concerned about damaging the seats.

Sir when you dilute it 1:20 you can yourself think how mild it will be.

Else you can go for pol star

It not a petroleum additive it sorta acts like a detergent and i think all leather cleaner would have this in some quantity . i am pretty sure the Mg Hs leather is not vegan leather and has a top coat on it, so pretty sure mzr wont cause any probs but if you are not sure then Koch polstar is another route which is actually meant to be used on delicate materials like alcantara and such delicate leathers cause most dye transfer removers have some sort of solvent in order to remove the dye

Actually, MG HS is not even real leather, its faux leather. Would Pol Star work well on interior trim, plastics, vinyl and dashboard? or is it better to go with Mzr as all purpose interior cleaner?

My vote with mzr as you can dilute it as per duty and moreover it's more versatile.

But polstar will be good enough for plastics and leather
