Which City are you in. as far as faux leather is concerned most cars on the market are imitation leather so yes care is needed while cleaning Mzr is a good safe a strong good cleaner but if you are not sure on the material and have no prior experience using pro grade cleaning products Koch Polstar is the safest option as its Ph Neutral

I'm in Lahore. Yes, I'm leaning towards Pol Star as well. if it doesn't work well on interior trim, then i'll get Mzr for that purpose. But at least Pol Star won't damage the faux-leather seats.

Pol star will work on trims as well but its results on fabric is not so good

polstar will work on everything plastics trims and even on the roof liners

But its not that strong due to which have to use excess and leaves little staining on fabric if not vaccumed

Can I use simple foam which is also available at Paint shop for simple polish such as Cosmic by Kangroo etc

Sir u can use a foam by an automotive company or a microfiber applicator pad.

But please don't use cosmic

Hello All.
Please tell me where to find IPA (isopropyl alcohol) OR similar Spray-n-wipe cleaner in Islamabad/Rawalpindi? (to use before applying ceramic/sealant etc)....

Also, I have run into a problem.. NO matter what I do (clay bar, compound n polish, washing paint again, drying it etc (car shampoo + tried detergent also), but ANY Wax or sealant doesnt last on Trunk of my car. Max 4 dayss and the beading is gone (trunk only + both rear fenders).... I have tried collinite 845, Cosmic Wax, Meguir Ultimate Liquid Wax, Turtle Black box, Turtle paste wax, Fussocoat wax, and 1,2 other Meguir waxes....

i can provide you with Paint Preps to use before any sealant application

The beading of your wax is gone due to contamination. It require decon wash in order to bring back the beading.

Also IPA based paint do not increase wax or longevity if you do not polish. Solvent based paint preps do increase longevity without polishing.

Well actually I have tried many things... used proper cleaner (sent with the wax by manufacturer), but still nothing.. Had properly clay-ed, compounded, polished and then removed all residue by washing again properly and applied wax (Collinite 845) but it lasted 1 week and then beading was gone after 2 weeks (washed properly)... The colour is metallic black (?) (garaged car)
Whereas the same wax (Coll....845) on single-stage white paint (Mehran - totally unprepared paint) seems just applied after a week (24/7 outside) ....

Solvent based preps Do not increase the longevity but solvent based preps are very aggressive and can leave marring or cause the paint to swell. Both ipa and solvent based preps will remove polishing oils and any unwanted silicone that may interfere with bonding. for getting maximum life its always recommended to use a polish with no fillers or no wax in it.

Hello everyone. I am facing a very unusual but a very annoying problem. I got my car washed at Technowash (Islamabad) and they used some substance to clean my car's interior that left some stubborn wipe marks on my speedometer. Next time I complained to them about it, they said no problem and proceeded to clean it even more vigorously with the same substance. At the time I didn't give much thought to it. But now it's been a month and this shit isn't coming off. I have tried wiping it with a degreaser, with WD40, with vinegar. Nothing works. It's like the wipe marks are permanently etched into the screen. I don't know which horrible substance they used but I'm extremely frustrated. If any detailer has any ideas on how to solve this, I would be grateful. For now I'm thinking I will need to have the entire speedometer replaced. Also, please avoid Technowash at all costs.

Sir use a polish and try to clean with it. Bcz looks like burning used by a strong alkalic cleaner. Only a polish or compound can do some miracle.

Compound or polish on plastic? I'm not sure how that would work. But this is highly disappointing. I am pretty sure replacing this meter will cost me a small fortune.

Yes sir work of polish or compound is to cut the clear coat which is also applied on this plastic.

Do give a quality polish try
