I have removed the A pillar covers of my car, to clean some water marks as well as apply some glue to the cloth.

Any idea how best to get rid of these water marks without being too aggressive?

Sir I dont think these are water Spots. These are Stains probably. Have you tried apc. Use apc with a brush and scrubb them

Those are stains. If you dont have apc, get a carpet upholstery cleaner (even the cheap ones will work eg astonish, tough stuff and even the korean cans) and spray it onto the fabric/plastic, leave it for a minute and agitate with a microfibre or a detailing brush and wipe clean. Repeat if necessary. APC is more money friendly since you get alot of product since you need to dilute it. Use the least dilution ratio i.e 1:20 for interior cleaning.

Sir if its Cloth material trust me. Nothing will work better than Surf Excel tide or Ariel

So here is the rejuvenation process on my A Pillars. The A Pillars had a few stains from rain water and dirty hands (the mechanics [emoji35] [emoji35]), plus the cloth had started coming off due to a bad previous cleaning effort.

Well after some drying time alone, we are back on it.

Time to stick it in place. Tools used:

Wife's Hair Dryer

Gloves

Uhu clear glue, because I wanted to use only the best, but what better than German glue to go on German car [emoji12], and secondly that was the only glue readily available indoors.

A pair of steady hands (only one shown in picture, because other hand is busy. Taking the picture ofcourse!)

OK, lets begin.

Bored at office today! So here you go... another car done with GTechniq C1 & Exo!
Some more for the road... just to kill time :)
The GTechniq Sticker on the front windscreen is included in the kit with C1 Crystal Lacquer

First water bath, wheels cleaned and degreased with brushing, engine bay washed and degreased with brushing, door window rubber trims, emblems and other exterior trims degreased and brushed, washed again with shampoo, clayed, hosed with water and dried off..

Then all exterior trim & monograms tape masked, car was compounded, then washed again, then polished again, then carefully wipe cleaned to remove polishing oils.. then GTechniq panel wipe used to prep all surfaces, then GTechniq Crystal lacquer applied, panel by panel and buffed off...

Then after 3 hrs GTechniq Exo was applied... Door jambs and rims protected with Chemical guys Jet seal, windows cleaned and preped with Nanoskin crystal clear and then sealed with Nanoskin Rain sealant!

Emblems protected with spray sealants water based to avoid future salt deposits... Head/Tail Lights + Chrome was polished & coated too!

Dressing applied to all exterior trims, tires coated with meguiars tire coating!

During all this interior also received full detailing and dressing, light conditioner on seats too!
