Today i FINALLY used an orbital, ive always been reluctant to use an automated machine on my car, and always relied on my hands, but for a change today i tried using it, thanks to Usman Bhai, who lend it to me.
Washed the car using Speed Autocare shampoo, again have to say, love that thing, great product.
Applied Mothers Step 2 Sealer and Glaze, and then Meguiar's Gold Class, both using the Orbital.
Since it was the first time i was using it, it was pretty tricky, didnt know in which way to move it, and how much liquid should i pour onto it, still im not sure, but im sure with time i would learn.
One common problem i faced was the fact that if i applied too much of a liquid, it would become hard to remove, and if i applied too little, it wont even get onto the body of the car, so finding the right amount of liquid to be applied was quite a tideous task.
Now when using paste wax, through the buffer, it was such a nice experience, you just put a blob of wax onto the body and voilaa the buffer does the trick for you.
Anyway it was a good experience, though ive been detailing my car 5 hours straight in roza, ghar walon sey achi khassi dant pari, and i think tonight ill sleep like a baby.
The car smells extremelyyyy nice, thanks to the candy smell of gold class..and trust me ive never in my entire life touched such a smooth paint job, not even on new cars.
