yup bro, optimum has more variety wesay, but i had a talk with usman bhai, using a pretty mild abrasive formula on my soft paint would be a wreck, instead we are planning to do something else, will keep you posted, and text me your number i dont have it, 0333-4714303.

even swirl x on a soft paint which isnt a pain in the butt would be a havoc, so we're sticking to the plain ol' carnauba and sealer and glaze.

Yes you are right.I read somewhere that Honda Civic has soft paint, so using an abrasive product will surely take away paint and as you are a business student so you can't bear this lose neither theoretically nor practically.
And yes coming to your point about swirls,they are inevitable.So using abrasive products to remove swirls doesn't make sense at all.You just need to have a car with tidy looks and 0 percent bonded contaminants- thats it

@ usman bhai yup agree with u we always learn from it ,thx for the comments about the pic sirg yup i knw its hard to digest but airplanes ships n boats are almost protected by sealant so they are not washed or cleaned on regular basis but they do shine like a new .
even in U.S normall practice when people buy frniture or sofa sets they get their stuff sealant protected many companies offer the sealant made for furniture curtains and house stuff for protection,longer shine and to protect them for marks n stains
i got a big clientage who get their cars protected by us and they are happy with it never got a complain of getting dull paint or sealant loosing its strength

At the end of the day swirls do come back on, its not just the way we wash the car, or wax it, which causes swirls, there are so many other factors, for instance driving in a dusty environemt would cause swirls, so there are two things you could do, use extensive products on your car after every five or six months, because thats the max you could prolong the swirls from re-appearing, or you could keep your car clean and take all the precautionary methods to avoid swirls as much as you can, and keep your paint preped.

Yaar I am also planning to get pre-soak.I haven't detailed my engine properly so thinking of getting it.I used Khurum Bhai's metal cleaner on Steermatic's rims and the result was superb.

Absolutely Regular Waxing masks the swirls really well.
I applied two coats of Mother's Carnuba and I could hardly see any swirls after that.One thing I would like to share that if you are applying Carnuba,try to damp the cloth or applicator with water, and then apply Carnuba, you will achieve totally different results.It was even written on the product,tried it and I was amazed at the results.The swirls very well masked.
And I have planned to do Cleaner Wax after every two months so that least swirls are visible.That's the best way to tackle with swirls.

There was this guy a couple of pages ago who blatently claimed that this product doesnt work, and this is all B.S, and a way to rip people off their money.

Waxing with a good wax, maska the swirls really well.

I applied Sealer and Glaze and then a coat of Gold Class and the results were superb.

I have a similar line of action too in mind, Sealer and Glaze after every month, and then usually Gold Class every week.

Oh yes i wet the applicator before applying the wax, it does work quite well, infact you save a lot of wax this how also.

Yeap, S&G is not harmful to the clearcoat to a much greater extent, it just brings out the luster from the paint, and it veryyyyy tinyy winyy bit abrasive, one application a month is completely fine. and it is clear coat safe, on it, its written that Step 1 if done properly may only be needed just once or twice a year, and after that Step2 which is the S&G and Step3 which is the carnauba could be applied as much as desired.

nice to see you two kept the thread alive.................@bad an tayyab, the best regime is a good cleaning quarterly in a year an a frequent coat of wax.....nothing beats it.....you two have pretty much explained swirls..........tomorrow mornin after Fajar Ill be doing work of swirl removal on @ Lucky Leos black ride.............wait for that.........an weve tried to keep the cost down...............remember we did star_2s ride in a mere Rs.2,000 only.......entire car`s paint correction.....

My car is swift 2010, white color.

As im new to detailing need ur coments:
1. Shampo (whch brand and product shd i use, im thnkn 4 mothrs,shd i go 4 it or som wht else product shd i usè?)

1. Microfiber cloth is 4 polishng only & wht shd b usd 4 applyn shampo 2 car body and thn wiping?

2. Using mothr carnubara step3 pølish as i heard its good 4 a new car in white color OR shd use sealer or wht else?

3. Ned sugestn 4 aplicator 4 polish? Whch brand r avalbl?4rm whr 2 get? Price? Sugestns?

4. Best way to give a proper shine to body ? Shd use m.fibre cloth or polishn machne?as i got machne too.

5. Proper way 2 clean the tyre? Shd use surf & thn any tyre polish etc?? I ned a clean mat finish tht did nt catch dust?

6. Shd i stick 2 mothr rims polish or any sugestn?

7. Interior. Usng stp sunofgum 4 interior. As som1 told me its betr thn all. How to properly cleam interior? Dnt knw any thng abt difrnt products? Need detals abt cleaning thru dif products.
