Allah kay banday, turtlewax is apni website par bhi clay kit Rs.1,100 ki nahin hai! Clay bars are more cleaners than shiners, they are used to remove dirt an contaminants and paint toxants. Secondly for gloss and shine use any glaze, Turtle Wax Blaze -n- Glaze is a good one Ive used, Mothers Hand Glaze has also taken part in my detailing mischief.....you can also go for a good polish.........any one from meg, or mother, or turtle will suffice

Thanks for the comparison sir, how do u take care of ur pads? Which pads do u use for the different purposes n if u were going to advise someone lookin for a buffer what wud u advise him? Is this a worthwhile option for someone lookin for a machine for just his or few friends cars?

Caught @ lahori in the afternoon wandering near my place,took him along an had a lil meet with Rockk i.e. Usman bhai, bro it was fantastic meetin you!! I thought you were a young guy, heck you turned out to be an abba as well! Welcome to the dal cheeni club mate!!! Too bad the weather an road condition made things messier............actually people there was road construction going on an guess what, my carpets got tar all over them, to top it off I had to go back to office so I couldnt tend to them immediately..........Got home took them out, an tried surf............nothing despite scrubbing like mad......,then let it soak in bleach for some time an then scrubbed, still no answer, tried pre-soak........and the carpet started to develop chocolaty foam........it was just spreading the tar, not removing it..............worried the heck out of me.......took me two and a half hours till now........thought new carpets ki dazz lag gaye..............but while I went to put the brushes I saw the wonder with 20,000,000 uses. WD-40!!! Tada an it worked like a charm...........sprayed it on the tar spot, gave it 15 mins then used a hard bristled brush to scrub the whole carpet, this made a light brown froth after that I just used a scraper to take water out of the mat, marvellous results...............every time the scraper neared the end I could see tar literally floating out of the carpet an onto the floor......so people the eureka for tar removal from carpet !!!!!

So Usman Bhai can I use WD40 to tackle with tar spots.I have tarspots on my car below the front passenger door area.What are your recommendations?Actually, I dont want to lose my claybar on those tar spots.

Back in end 2008 my white city 2005 had met an accident and i got the right door and the bonnet repainted from a local denter/painter in F10 islamabad (the ones who paint under trees). I was not satisfied from the day one as the colours did not properly match (very minute difference) but the painter replied that the colours will match after compounding a couple of times. Now the difference is still there and the paint on the bonnet is chipping off, very small chips at 3-4 places (the bonnet was changed after the accident). Now my questions are:-
1.Do the normal paint jobs in pak put a clear coat on top of the base coat, implying whether i should treat the paint on that door and bonnet differently or otherwise?
2.What can be done to correct the paint difference or nothing can be done?
3.Why is the paint chipping off, what can be done?

guys i found this polisher from "kabarai" only 800/= i wana know is it useful for waxing car?and which pad i need for this machine?its attach with car cigrate lighter...guys i wana know does itwill weak the battery?

I used to have one like this as well, its a pretty old story now, i found it to be underpowered, and the cable wasnt long enough to reach to distant enough places.

I was about to do that but the carpets had like a tons of tar an I finished my wd-40 on it...........but hey do experiment an tell us back! tayyab you wont take yer clay bar to grave my boy.......use it, just dont abuse it! Its made to remove tar............use it to remove tar.......not to display on yer corner table

........our margallar bhai is a staunch believer in the single stage paint, though I assure you every painter here has his LAAYKAR read as lacquer story to tell......

1.Yes, every clown with a spray gun here applies the clear coat
2.Colour difference is a pro job to deal with.......normally if they have applied a shade darker or lighter, what I used to do was cut the paint all up n try to get the colours to match, else I used to very very very mildly spray the lighter part with grains of some shades darker paint then cut it again an shine it all up an we got a match.....its not easy to pull off, but someone with exp should be able to achieve it..
3.Prolly you got some stone chips an those chips traveled......or the top coat has eroded an the paint is in firing range of the climate....could be the metal beneath has rusted...........multitude of causes.........mind puttin up some pics maybe I can guide you better then.

Yar kiya yaad karaya hai ustad! Wahhh! I have the brush for this as well...with the rubber protected outer sphere... ..this was my very first rotary........an its a good one!!! Low speed ideal for a learner.........the button used to be right above the spot where you grip it.....rubber protected.........makes a noise like a toy car..........I had cut the lighter adapter out an used to join it directly to the battery.....no it doesnt weaken the battery, but its just for light work......dont try pulling off 30 hour detailing sessions with it!!!! JazakAllah for the sweet memories

You can wax your car everyday if you feel like, wont harm the paint in any way.

As long as the car is completely clear of dust every day before u do it and as long as th wax IS a wax and not a polish plus the cloth u use to take the wax off later is a microfibre and that too a totally clean one then there shudnt be any harm. waysay its not much use to put layers and layers and layers endlessly. 3 consecutive layers shud be good enough to last u a month if a handled carefully. Then on put on some fresh layers.

It is a good practice to keep you paint clean, once in 5 6 months it is useful, cleans your paint off surface contaminents and gives you a clean surface to work on.

It is used after washing the car.

The procedure is simple, you rub in onto the surface of the car, whilst also spraying or using any anti-friction detailers liquid, either supplied with the clay bar kit, or seperate.

You either rub the entire car, which is a hefty procedure, or the parts which you think need more care than the rest, such as the front and the back end.

You rub it on in different patterns until you feel that the clay bar is sliding over the surface and there is not surface traction.

But you have to be careful to keep on folding the clay bar if it catches too much contaminants, sometimes you may even have to seperate that dirty part from the clay bar, and if you let it slip from your hand and fall on the ground, you're in big trouble, it would attract a whole lot of dust particles and tiny stones and what not, which might scratch your paint finish.

so you have to be extra careful whilst using it.

@ stingray bro i got pinnacle pad cleaner n something i dnt remember there were two bottles to clean the pads other than that u can simply clean it with tooth brush with little amount of shampo diluted its simple not an issue
got 1 maroon cutting which vague bhai helped me to buy from lhr n almost i got all 6 pads for diferrent purpose light cleaning ,heavy cutting,light swirl ,heavy scratches so many for almost every purpose grey finishing pad n white finsihing 1 as welll
there are so manyyy
this is the best machine n almost used by professionals all over the world
any 1 can use it it got A clutch system wont harm the paint as compare to 3000 chinese machine just go through the manual instructions videos on youtube and use the right pad with the right product if u got any relatives in uk or usa u will get the complete deal with pads with pinnacle swirl remover n bla bla within 200 us $
portr cable is not available but meg is for like around 25-28 thsnd but if u search online in usa its for like 150 $ then for like 7-10 $ for single pad
to me i wont buy any other
