guys is "clay bar kit"neccesary?

yes clay bar is neccesary atleast twice a year unless your car is not much in use and is garaged.

clay bar cleans the paint off particles that may not be seen to the naked eye also clay bar does not remove tar completely just removes the head of the tar if you know what i mean.

in the uk the procedure to clean paint is to wash car then use something called tardis to disolve the paint of tar completely then a new thing called de ironizer is used to rid the paint of iron contamination then we would clay bar!

also when i persoanlly clay bar i wash the car and leave it wet and use plenty of quick detailer.

i know its different in pakistan as you can not get much materials out there

You can wax your car everyday if you feel like, wont harm the paint in any way.

wax will not harm the car but also it will not layer either so waxing daily is pointless as you wont gain more durability or anything.

personaly i like to wax my car monthly and use a quick detailer with carnuba in between to keep up shine

........our margallar bhai is a staunch believer in the single stage paint, though I assure you every painter here has his LAAYKAR read as lacquer story to tell......

1.Yes, every clown with a spray gun here applies the clear coat
2.Colour difference is a pro job to deal with.......normally if they have applied a shade darker or lighter, what I used to do was cut the paint all up n try to get the colours to match, else I used to very very very mildly spray the lighter part with grains of some shades darker paint then cut it again an shine it all up an we got a match.....its not easy to pull off, but someone with exp should be able to achieve it..
3.Prolly you got some stone chips an those chips traveled......or the top coat has eroded an the paint is in firing range of the climate....could be the metal beneath has rusted...........multitude of causes.........mind puttin up some pics maybe I can guide you better then.

Obviously no sane person would wax their car every single day!

We were having this argument just as food for thought.

You might achieve great results with your method of keeping your car preped, but i stick to the usual method, waxing atleast one time a week, no detailer spray, just plain ol' wax.

it might interest you to know that too much waxing is also harmful. i tested it on the paint inside the trunk(hidden behind the cloth)

i tried three small patches. on one i tried turtle hard shell, the others were cosmic and armorall. i shampooed em and dried all the regular bla bla. after it was dried i applied wax. ok shiny at first. after 5 hours i did the same again but this time the paint looked a bit foggy and lost depth. i could see the difference in reflection even at night time. and its been a long time, it isnt going away, it will need a cleaner wax or something. and i also tested putting excessive wax at one time and the result was the same as before

Yes i remember the excessive wax dilemma, anyway this is quite an unusual thing to happen.

Ive tried back to back waxing once, Gold class, topped off with manhattan gold, worked perfect.

Gave a curing period of about like 12 hours to GC and 2 hours to surluster.

Safdar that is due to the excessive wax you put on.A car's clear coat can only bear a suitable layer of wax and the excessive wax you keep putting on, either sits on the clear coat or come off as a residue.You are saying about that foggy panel, that is because of the residual wax.It would have come off if you were using a good quality car wax.But don't use Cleaner Wax on a single stage paint, it may remove the paint :-#

maybe it was due to the low end waxes in my experiment . i mean there has got to be something special when you pay so much for manhattan gold

bro paint coming off is normal in my case. i get a lil red on the buffing cloth and the applicator pad thanx to suzuki's great paint quality

Yes bro that is why I am suggesting you to leave it as it is.Save some money and buy a good quality car wax.You are strictly against respraying so you should protect what you have.
