A very nice reply and from experience with exactly the same combination first the carnauba and then the synthetic gives the best result. Thats because once the carnauba goes in it gives of a beautiful glow and depth to the paint but not so much of a shine and thats so important for dark coloured cars, in my case black. Followed by a synthetic gives you a good shiny mirror perfect detailing look plus the added advantage that it lasts longer.

In the reverse situation, the carnauba really doesnt show its majic so i prefer the first situation.

Since you are into Meguiars so much now, try their DC Polish. Im sure youve already read about it and it gives an AMAZING difference when you use the above combination !!

The Deep Crystal system has been here for quite some time now hasnt it? Anyways i was hoping to get my hands on the Ultimate line rather then deep crystal.

Ive personally been using the Meguiars G110v2 polisher. You should realise one thing that its a 110v where as we have a 220v supply so you would have to get a volatge converter for it as well if you are getting it from the states. The one available here is a 220v so you wont have to worry about it. As far as the results go they are very good and cuts the time and effort down to 1/10th maybe though your product consumption might increase. About 10 to 15% and the time that you save might be spent in washing your pads and microfibers .. lol ..

One BIG ADVANTAGE of getting the meguiars DA is the new microfiber line that they have introduced. It is fantastic. I used it on a friends car who had gotten it himself and it was INSANE... Rejuvinated a 15 year old car, though we added the DC polish and the NXT wax during the process. Would advise a serious detailer to def grab it..!

Yes the new microfibre treatment system shud be the next IN thing in the coming years, meguiars took abt 7 years of research just to develop it so it shud be dam good i suppose. Abt the pads n microfibres washing, dude it literally takes me as long as a medium length detailing session just to get the microfibres n pads into a properly clean state My wife normally tells me that i have never bothered asking her twice whether my laundry n pressing was done or not but microfibres........as if my ancestoral belongings were in jeopardy.

You guys are specialists as far as car detailing is concerned.....Your GTG/Meet should be in sufficient "DAY LIGHT" so that people like me with a little knowledge may get some benefit By looking and discussing about your "DETAILED" cars in day light.....
Please suggest the "best wax/polish" for regular use on car body...as well as The "best" Dashboard spray .......their approx prices and the places from where we can get hold of them....
I am very impressed by your knowledge about car detailing.....Keep it up..

Definitely next time it would be in good light, usually in summers it is difficult to meet in broad daylight because of the excessive heat, our latest meet was in good light as well, but not under the bright sun.
But next time inshALLAh when you come we would make sure you get what you desire sir.

For regular use i would advise you to invest in either Meguiar's Gold Class 2000-2500 rupees, or Mothers California Gold 1500-1800 rupees.

Both are carnauba waxes and are great, but i rate Gold Class a notch above California Gold.

If you wish to buy a synthetic wax then Meguiar's NXT wax, same as the price of Gold Class, but would give a little more protection against rain and dust than gold class, and would keep intact with your car for a little longer, BUT wont have the depth and gloss of Gold Class.

For interior spray, STP son of a Gun, excellent product for the price, cleans and protects, if you wish to get something even better then Meguiar's interior detailer spray or wipes.

Imaan this is just an average grade shampoo.....if you have nothing better ........or your budget restricts you.......I`d much rather touch the speed autocare shampoo than go for any formula or armour all......its highly economical an works perfect as well.

I think you get equal respect here.......an if you want to judge people by their collections.......I dont think thats a good criteria.......any idiot with some dough can go an buy goodies............wont make him a big shot here.........it takes experience an knowledge an dedication to get peoples respect here.............no formal collection required.......................

Sir, JazakAllah for appreciating the thread.......well have another gtg soon enough, bad_cheetah will have an itch an well be standing somewhere touching cars an arguing an experimenting.......Bad_cheetah has already given the perfect answer to your question with regards to the exterior......just to revise the difference between a wax an a polish.....a wax is there to protect, whereas a polish is used for shine......wax adds on a layer whereas polish removes a layer...........the best interior cleaner/polish I have used is Turtle Wax Ice Interior Spray an Xymol....both available at Saca Plus on montgomery road......prices will start around 800 an move upwards.......jazakAllah once again from the thread members......always nice to be appreciated......Looking forward to seeing you at the next gtg.........might just have to do one in your honour!
