Im always glad to share knowledge regarding different sorts of problems, keeps me in good shape too (knowledge wise) coz for lots of things i have to google up certain ifs n buts on issues. The best tip that i have in my vault is , "Get ur paint into as perfect a shape as u can, corrections will be required, then onward PREVENTION is the key". And prevention includes ur daily cleaning, weekly cleaning, monthly and 3 monthly session, HOW is the big question here. This relates to the type of microfibres, applicators, environment, products and techniques u use. A general belief through out the world is that products will only be as good as the cleanliness level of the microfibres and applicators that get used during the process i.e there shudnt be ANY residue in them from previous detailing sessions and that my friend is a PAIN to achieve after every session.

Ultimate compound is more abrasive but still clear coat safe n yes from the looks of ur car it seems its more in need of ultimate compound. The ultimate polish is a new introduction by meguiars and i havent used it till yet so i can only go by the reviews ive read about it online. What meguiars claims is that its definitely abrasive enough to give u good polishing action stil bein clear coat safe which means that its got lower cutting power than the ultimate compound, so use it first and if u dont get the desired results then use the ultimate compound.
The 3 step contains the de-waxer(not abrasive), the sealer and glaze (very minor abrasive) and the carnauba wax (not abrasive) so its going to cost more and do less, what u need is somethin that can give u enough (just enough not more) cutting to get rid of those swirls. Its a hit n trial thing (within safe limits of course) that will land u with best results. Based on experience i'll tell u that ultimate compound is one of the best correction products i have ever used in combination with the supreme shine microfibre towel. The availability, i just cant say anything abt lahore coz ive never bought detailing stuff there but, maybe the saca auto on montgomery road do stock it or mekro might as well. take care.
