huf some relief thr was an error frm showroom side they have done rubbing on just some parts and buffed other remaining so it created a mess now they have colored ma back bumper and polished they whole car much much better now but they said u have to get it back after 2-3 days tht they will rub the back bumper

i will post the new pics now and i visited makro khi i think they have copy ov mothers synthetic polish and California gold class and they r charging high means synthetic wax is ov 1530

and myy head light cover is clean but some how i think becoz ov hid's ma headlight is nt properly sealed so some dust has entered in it so it needs a clean up

@ Bad Cheetah : yes these worms r very soft even u can give bath even to ur smal baby tht it wont scratch
@Dr ,Khurrum & others do suggest me abt snaps and details i have given back ma ride to showroom ppl to do the need full and get rid ov tht roughness and other minor details

From yer pics bro its very hard to get an idea of the texture so I cant comment till I see it personally...though Khurum bhai can have a look an judge it out for you......I`m still of the opinion that the work on your car isnt complete.......let the workshop give a clean bill of health.....if the prob still exists have Khurum Bhai look at it...

and ppl please suggest me tht m going to clean and buff my headlights should i do it

I`m rather against it, our lamps have a thin plastic film on it an the restorer usually peels off that layer an headlight turns yellow after a while.........thats my experience, maybe someone has had a better one!!!

usman bhai thanks for liking my car and results.but engine is still dirty not as urs. bas lahore ana hay to sirf issi k liye dost ak gari k pichay para howa hay k sale kardo and am like no yar abhi kaha khair i have used mothers carnuba cleaner wax and results was quite satisfying .

What about plast x, no sanding required, it is like a liquid wax, you rub it onto the headlight, and it visibally improves the condition.

I think anything which is abrasive will do the trick in removing that UV Protection, that's why you may have noticed that with every Headlight Restoration Kit, a Headlight Protectant is given.Usman Bhai is right, once that original layer peels off, you have to be extra careful with the lights as they turn yellow very soon.I think PlastX is also abrasive because it removes the yellow haze from headlights.

Congratulations guys on getting the mark of 4000 posts. But greater the posts, greater is the difficulty to find some particular information
Guys suggest me a good wax for my brand new Honda City. Its White in colour. Never been waxed, just washed once. (I don't want heavily expensive ones)
Also suggest me some product to clean the engine bay of my Suzuki Khyber. The product which I can use my self without damaging the engine components.

Solution then, what if someone wants to restore the lights?

A friend's car headlight has turned a little hazy, he used toothpaste to clean it, and it had turned a little dull than the one which he didnt use the toothpaste on, any tips and tricks which i could give him, other than plast x or anything else.

I used these products yesterday on my Baleno.

I liked the shampoo very much as compare to my previous Formula1 shampoo which left alot of dried water spots.
Speed shampoo made a great foam.

Tyre dresser is also very good. It creates a decent shine on the tyres.

I did not find any use of the Chrome and metal cleaner as no such part of my ride was dirty so tried it on a part of engine to remove dirt. It worked good but the area was too small on which I used that I could not take picture.

At the end I used the Wax and I really loved it. The shine it gave to my ride is A++ really great. But I found it very difficult to remove as it left some remaining in the same pattern as I applied it. I applied a very thin layer of it. But I think problem was with my fur bonnet on the buffer.

Here is the shine.

In short this economical set is a must buy.

Once I got headlights of my Baleno washed and smoked from inside and buffed from outside. After some time I felt that they have turned yellowish from outside as there was no chance for dust to get in. So Yesterday and last sunday I applied the wax on the headlights also and then picked the wax with buffer and now I can see them shining again;)

You can see the washing mitt in the photos. I am using it from about 1.5 or 2 years for removing dirt and applying shampoo. I have no complaint with it and I cannot detail my car without it.
