nai yar, margalla kisi bi type ki detailing sai retired hai, uska paint bohat nazuk hai. mai chahta hn k kuch ho to mera naam na lage aur bas maine hath ni lagana agar respray na howi. i have thought that if the paint is dying let it die. what will happen, it looks bad already, atleast it will get a respray. im just collecting dough and parts for later to complete my dream.

The colour of the car is grey.
I removed the wax after 15 min but I felt that it was very oily and wet. May be I applied more quantity.

Hmm 15 minutes is a little less time, Meguiar waxes are loaded with oils which nourish the paint to a great extent, and they need a little time to settle in.

Next time when you apply wax, make sure it stays there for some time, you could even do a finger test, swipe your finger onto any random pannel on the body after you've applied the wax, if it is leaving behind a smudgy effect, then that means the wax needs more curing time, if it is not leaving a smudgy trail behind and the wipe is clean, then you can remove it.

But if you've applied wax after a long time to the car, then i would say you let it cure overnight, and then buff it off the next morning.

Tested Meguiar's Cleaning Wax on the bonnet of my Khyber.
See the pictures below and comment. The pictures are captured by my Nokia E5 camera at night, hence the image quality is not that good.
Also tell me for how much time the wax should be left on car's body before we start removing it?
@margallar: I checked the cloth for car paint after rubbing, it was clean.

Guyz I want to know that I need to park my car for like 5 to 6 months. not completely but will be taking it out once in a week or 2 wks. so apart from putting on it a good quality thick top cover which I have already obtained, what all other measures should I take so that the car doesnt loose its shine and remain the same as it is now.

as cheetah said either it is meguiars plastx or turtle headlamp restorer. and for now keep applying dashboard protectant on them. it is good practice to apply dash protectant on lights weekly. that formula1 spray will serve well here. after you have treated the lights with any of the above two solutions you must keep them protected with the protectant i mentioned above otherwise in a few months the lights will yellow again.

and amir bhai if the car will be parked all this time disconnect the battery and remove the rims, leave it on bricks or a jack. if a car remains parked for long periods rims and tyres get bent

@Speedster, nice job my friend! The car looks superb! But sorry to burst the bubble here, but the Meg's Cleaner Wax u bought is actually a fake one, though slightly better than Cosmic and Formula. U probably paid rs. 600-700 for it, n that money has actually paid off!
