Today I went to Saca plus to get the Meguiars NXT 2.0. As members mentioned in this thread, the asking price was 2,100. At first, he completely refused that he had any Meguiars stuff, but later showed me a couple of 3M polishes and 1 pack of Meguiars NXT 2.0. Now no hard feelings here as its his product and his call to whether sell it or not.

When I inquired about the price, he quoted Rs. 2200 and when I said I can pay max Rs. 2000, he called up someone and afterwards said that he won't budge from Rs. 2200 and that its market price is 3000+ (like I don't know what price its being sold at @ Optimum Karachi and whats his distri price).

Anyways still no hard feelings as its his call whether to sell it at a particular price or not. I told him that I am going next door to Autoline and will come back. I went to autoline and bought a couple of Mothers products and had a nice little chat with the owner (as I have been buying Mothers products from him regularly since 2 years) on Meguiars v/s Mothers. Anyways after about 20 mins, I went back to Saca plus and asked him to give me the Meguiars NXT 2.0 at 2200, the price which he told me 20 mins back. Shocker here now; He said that price is now 2300 and that I have missed the 'chance' to purchase it at 2200 20 mins back. WHAT THE F**K? The a**hole saw I was interested and immediately jacked up the price. Rs. 100 isn't the issue here as I burned more than Rs. 500 petrol by going to Montgomery on my R18 but idiotic and selfish shopkeepers like Saca plus **** me off. His reputation already isn't that good as he used to deal in fake Turtle wax 3/4 years back and his prices are always more than the market rate but still today I gave him a chance, but lesson well learnt. Never going to purchase a single stuff again from Saca plus and will never recommend him to anyone either. As far as NXT 2.0 is concerned, Ill happily pay shipping and get it from Optimum, and will suggest everyone to do so instead of being ripped of by Saca Plus both on price and a fake product

1)Autoline isn't competitor of Saca Plus. Autoline is official Mothers distributor for whole of Middle East (you can check it from Mothers website) while Saca Plus only just stocked 1 piece of NXT 2.0. Saca Plus is not authorized distributor of Meguiars, is NOT getting stock from authorized dealer Optimum and has only 1 piece. Can't call it competition. Also autoline does not stocks Meguiars

2)I did gave reference of vague_one. I did not knew his name but I did told Saca Plus that a couple of guys who bought stuff from you 2/3 days back sent me and told me that Meguiars was available at your shop. Only then he showed me Meguiars otherwise he wasnt even admitting he had Meguiars in the first place

3)Price isnt the issue. Unjustified price hike is. He quoted me 2200 and then raised the price to 2300 when I showed interest.

Anyways I am done here. The reason for my post was to tell everyone to avoid shady shops like Saca Plus and . I went all the way to Montgomery to purchase NXT 2.0 based on posts in this thread, only to come back disappointed.

All those who want Meguiars should get original stuff from Optimum Karachi who is authorized dealer. They are getting complete 2011 range in 2 weeks time. The optimum guy also said that Saca Plus may have gotten expired stock from UAE and that Optimum is NOT supplying to Saca

Mothers® California Gold® Carnauba Wash & Wax

Used it on my 8th gen civic a couple of hours back. I honestly did not found the shine or depth as compared to Mothers Carnauba Wax or Mothers Synwax but it is a useful product in place of a shampoo and it adds a layer of wax on which to work on. Thus any wax would last longer. I plan on using it with Mothers Carnauba wax on day 1 followed by Mothers SYnwax on Day 2. Should last for a month.

Wonder who the sales person was......I will def take this up with the owner......now what has happened here is a typical situation that happens when the owner is away.....staff are free to play....shouldnt have happened. Anyway will see to it an also see if we can do some damage control.......cheers!

Bhai Saca Plus only deals in Turtle Wax. Official dealer/distributor of Mothers is Autoline and they have further given stock to various Toyota dealerships. I have bought all my Mothers stock from Autoline

Had a talk with Mr.Waseem, he will himself be on an will answer up to this.....the sales person has been traced....@ mani1 sorry about the issue, thought you must have a chit chat with the owner of Saca Plus as well....this will def be sorted out for you...

Clearing up a little, its not my shop, Ive just been going there for the last 9 years......an Mr.Waseem has called me back with some shocking info as well, like I said previously he will be on to see to this...lets keep this shop an distributor warfare out of this thread, shops are only named here for source.....not for authenticity and advertisement, you`ve had a bad experience, many have had good ones....lets refrain from accusations as well....this thread was made for product reviews and detailing help......lets not deviate from the core....keep the peace.

Ok people, here`s the surprise.....star_2 visited me today for some info his ride an how to cope with the paint disaster, showed him some shine on his damaged paint an made him smile, next week will be doing the complete car...lets see what happens.........anyway I came home from office an found the house empty, kids an wife were at in-laws, an I had 6 hours to kill............no points for guessing what happened....gadi detail kardo bhai nay....full engine detailed........presoak with polish on it.......washed the car, an waxed it......using my turtle power!!!!!! here are the results....comments are most welcome.........will appreciate any kind.......heres the engine before hand
