Car Care and Detailing Dreams

just w8 till 2morrow morning and will share some detailing pics that was performed today on my Chiti Dudh Swift....

Each an every panel was painstakingly done.....cord over my shoulder, pro istile......seemingly hours passed by......, finally it came time for the final wipe down....turtle`s platinum series ultra gloss detailer was the weapon of choice.....using megs supreme shine mf......

very very carefully an slowly the wipe down proceeded......nooks an crannies very carefully covered.....all the excess wax removed......realized the rear lights had some very fine swirls....got out swirlx an gave the lights a lil buff with the rotary at 5k rpm an they were good as new

they say silver is hard to get a shine out of.....I agree....these pics are nothing compared to the shine a black or a dark colour gives...but hey what the heck...the car was due some tlc for a looong time an I did sacrifice my sleep time jussssssssssss to detail the ride....got back to the books after it....got up for maghrib an here to post.......so you think reflectology is in motion or not??

& brilliant shine , shukar hayy iss becharee kee bhee bari aieee, Jis picture pay Mehran reflect hoo rahee hay , its simply Qatl-e-amm , maar hee dalaa.

I love the application sequence , last time I also did the same thing with santro , I put synthetic first so it stick tightly with clear coat and than did carnauba & than finally the final reflection coat ,(received lot of PM's Aamir Bahi synthetic last may liaga karain) , really love to see your application sequence which also stamped what I did with Santro

its about the swift again
i had my car serviced so as to get the undercarriage cleaned.
well the body was shampood too.
anyways the body was left dry so i decided to wax it
i have clayed the car once so the body is smooth and i dont want to use any kind of abrasive products on it. I applied mothers synwax
gave it 24 hours to cure then topped it off with mothers pure carnauba.
the look and feel is just perfect. But the problem is that i know this smoothness wont last. it ll wear off real soon once the car is back on roads.
So what i wanted to know is that what should i apply over the carnauba to add durability???
or is there any other way to increase durability??

@vague_one, sir also please suggest some solution to clean oxidization on emblem of car and also glass swirl/scratches which appears on wind screen (usually becomes more prominent during night time)?

Brother, Ive cleaned aloooota vintage an new emblens with the speed rust remover...it works slowly...but surely...do be ready for some "brushin!!!" when you undertake this task.......an scratches an swirls on glass is a section I do not have much research on....but Ive googled it an answered the same question a few pages back....

Ummm sorry I`m in the blue about this......but heres somthing Ive googled up, see if it works.....

For light scratches

Carefully clean the widow surface using glass cleaner, paying particular attention to the area in and around the scratched surface.If the scratch appears relatively light, attempt to buff out using a compound mixture of three parts toothpaste (containing baking soda) and one part powdered baking soda. Mix the compound well before applying to scratch area.Apply the toothpaste and baking soda compound to the scratch area by hand. Gently rub in using a circular motion. Allow compound to set for 3 to 4 minutes before using a terry towel to buff the scratch area. Buff using a circular motion while applying moderate pressure. Continue to buff for 20 minutes, or until the scratch is gone.Rinse compound from window, and clean with alcohol glass cleaner. If the scratch is partially removed, repeat the process.

Removing Deeper Window Scratches

Mix a compound containing equal parts of the following three ingredients:Buffing Compound, green or blue anti-freeze containing glycol, water. Mix thoroughly until a thick paste is formed.Apply compound paste to scratched area. Allow to dry 3 to 4 minutes.Buff with a terry towel using moderate pressure and a circular motion for 20 to 30 minutes, or until scratch is removed.Rinse compound from window using soap and water. If scratch remains or is only partially eliminated, repeat this process.

Sir, when you land...red lady shall be treated to undercarrige detail through me....deal aap ki aur meri......sir rule yehi hai that synthetic first an then carnauba, simple si story hai, when you cleanse or polish yer paint, use a synthetic first to preserve that finish an a natural on top to give it shine then....but sadly people here just wash an an wax an then complain...so I advise on the other route for them, wash the ride, put natural to get depth an some shine, an then use synthetic to preserve whatever tajurba they have performed....JazakAllah for the wishes....an thank you for admirin....your opinion means a lot!!!

.......you do realize that you have been infected with the detailing bug.......hand rubbing is a very very strong symptom.....ummm you can top the wax off midweek with a detailer spray.....but other an re-waxing I`m afraid there isnt much to do to keep that smoooooooooooooth feel!

Baleno got hit from back due to brake faliure of a cultus behind. Will get a new bumper and will have some dry denting on different parts if baleno's body after exams then I will join here again with full shine.
