Vague bhai u r rite but at this time i cannot afford megiuars glaze please tell me your experience of mother's glaze why don't u use it with quality waxes kiya yeh extra shine nahi dete ?? also please tell the product name of turtle glaze ..

Hmmmm, I used to play around with mothers prods quite a bit, I dont have anything against mothers.....but then two things happened, firstly I got access to alota other stuff, poor boys, chemical guys, 3M, megs, pinnacle etc......then this sudden flood of mothers in the market has made me very very suspicious...an the results of the mothers prods after the market flooding werent too good either.....so Im a bit hesitant.....besides Ive started to play with different combos again....the range from turtle is Hyper Crystal Polymer Glaze, Blaze n Glaze these are the ones I`m using an have tested.

Yar thats what i meant about the menu . . . polishing, detailing, cleaning... put everything on the table.

I have to get rid of few scratched on the boot....it seems it was done diliberatly. So put that on the menu for sure..

Now for 300 pages and 6000 post... u dont have to give a treat...rather u should get a treat from all those who post here.

KMAN...first of all hats off to one of the best local 'WHITE" sessions I have seen on this thread (although I am just a month old here but I have gone through every page)...you actually made white the new black...

secondly, excellent chart...this is also what most manufacturers of boutique waxes recommend however, and I repeat however... I found two things:

a. With our dusty environments ESPECIALLY Karachi...you cannot simply follow this regime...we have to take care of our cars literally daily with pampered treatments on a weekly basis.

The Goras normally recommend this on those special cars which are mostly not daily drivers plus their environment is literally dust free (atleast most of them) and is pollution free...furthermore the products we use are ideally made to perform under THEIR conditions...I am sure Meg's and dodo are not expecting a car with a fresh coat of carnauba driving within 5 feet of a tail chorhta hoa, kala dhoan phaykta hoa bedford ka diesal ka truck...

Plus the enthusiasts go even further and have static and dust free garages...My dad gets his car the works once before winters and once during spring and he gets a shiney car all year long...me I have to struggle every second day.

b. Discovered this amazing boutique show car product range in the US...definetly going to order it in Jan and have it brought in as the second batch to my already ordered ones...well anyways I called the owner up over the weekend and he gave me some very good tips and advice...

First of all...he shattered the myth of this table...he said that he knew owners who were so much in love with their cars that they did the whole regime every week irrespective whether their cars were dailies or not...just as long as you know when you have to take off all the older layers which have added up over time.

I got some great waxing and cleaning tips from him, some of which I tried out this Sunday and they worked...I will be sharing them with you all...as soon as I get some time to do the Sunday session write up.

Will def be waitin for those tips!!!

Aamir bhai an me were pondering over Bahria Town, nice clean air, open space...plenty of grass.....though the very first gtg for detail was at Mc.Dons....an yes I think Amreki shistem is a good caal!

I see your point and it makes sense too...but to me it makes sense in the following order

Glaze (if being put on) + Sealant + Carnauba + Sealant...so we are looking at 3 coats after surface/paint prep (I am counting Glaze as part of paint prep)...so this falls under the multi coat regime...and why the heck not...we do use some sort of product as a final coat after Carnauba or any other wax...like a detailer or a wax enhancer so why not a sealant...detailer can be left off for midweek...

@ V1 so are we saying to the head strong ones that do not want to follow the right procedures and still complain and crib about the shine..."AEY LAY MURRR!!!" .... :rolleyes:

well, i read the Dab and Pat method, in pages you mentioned, but still picture is not that clear,

What i understand is, Use two MF cloths, one full Wet, first give a full swipe with it, then use dry MF to remove water stains, are there any other vital info, ..?

and which MF cloth should be bought, and how to check its authenticity..?

Brother method is use a mf with detailer spray an pat the dust.....this will leave some detailer spray residue but will pick up most of the harmful dust, so you can use the swipe method now to remove the residue from the pat method. Go for a Meg`s mf.....good both for the pocket an the car...

Okay Karachiwalas...Hyperstar now has a lot of Mother's stuff including the popular Reflections and the Carnaubas. However, glaze is still missing and the MFs are of Sonex...interestingly they are all out of those disposable polishing MFs...which by the way are damn good.

heard good things about hyperstar ... definitely going there soon, had to go there like 2 weeks ago, but the thought of traffic just kills me

well i want to know, that My university parking is very dusty, and when it feels so annoying that in the morning i get the car cleaned up, and in afternoon, it is covered again in dust, just wanted to know, whats the best way to clean your car on daily basis,

I recently tried Turtle Crystal Polymer Glaze on my car. I washed the car clayed it, put glaze and then wax.
For glaze I first mixed 5 parts water to 1 parts glaze, then spread it over the car with microfibre cloth. I used liberal amounts of glaze. After 3 hours I put carnauba wax on the car.

The glaze hid some of the scratches / marks and made the overall look slightly darker but the shine was not there.
Where did I go wrong? is this wrong way to put the glaze ?

Ummmm seemingly u did fine....you just missed the massaging the glaze into the paint part....you dont just put glaze on an leave it, think with the liberal part you over did it......what coloured car do you have? model? any repaint ? I think there is need of reference methods here, aloota people have been having trouble with glazing.....chalo inshAllah this week or the next I`ll put on a glaze tutorial for you guys....

for glaze tutorial its good idea, since most of people here dont have da or rotery polishers so appreciate if you guide us glazing process with hand application
