amir bhai i am 101% agree with you, carnuba giving real depth, richness, fullness in col, its giving something wetness and full of live in col, also touch is warm and $exy while synthtic its a new technology, its gives sleekness, give polymer layer on car skin, its atract less dust , gives high shine but without depthness, richness and wet look in col
in simple words you can say carnuba gives warm look and touch and synthtic gives cold dry look and touch

I dont Kn but I'm feeling that I am Bending more towards Carnauba after Using DoDo, I consider Carnauba more to Feel , more natural, close to nature ,easy to fall in love.

Synthetic is more like technology. like a latest gadget , like a latest mobile , like a latest laptop.

Carnauba for sure will give ultimate depth as synthtic will give best shine. For technology, it is always wise to keep up with the technology.

Its winter time now, and i prefer to use synthetic layer over carnauba (if i really want to use carnauba) . Because carnauba is not as protective as synthetic. Considering the mist layer over the car over night it is better to use synthetic layer over carnauba.

I think the correct process is vice versa... Synthetic 1st, Carnuaba later.

my vote to carnuba 1st and than synthetic
Reasons : synthetic wax based on polymers which having good water resistance and it can resisit winter mist better than carnuba

I would say :

carnauaba is soft, each coat you apply in effect removes part of the previous coat you applied of the synthetic.

Guys, I want to buy a basic kit for my ride and my cousin is in Lahore for a few days, so I'm thinking of getting things from Lahore. I need suggestions on where to buy things and which products to buy as a starter kit. After reading the forum, I'm thinking of getting turtle products from SACA plus but i dont know which ones exactly.

So i need suggestions on a basic kit, which products? I'm not looking to spend more than 3-4K so if price could be mentioned that would be great.

Here are the pics. please note that these pics look much better than it actually is. paint is somewhat yellowing out and I think its oxidized, so complete application steps are required. Experts suggestions for products are highly wanted :-#

Reason for why i appose this idea is that, since synthetic wax is polymer based, it needs to be applied before carnuaba so that it sticks to the paint properly and serve as a sealant and protect the paint. Applying it after carnuaba wud be waste of efforts.

Best Combo is Synthetic 1st for protection and shine.
Later a coat of Carnuaba for depth or/and layer of carnuaba based detailer spray

Jan 2012 Competition...Rolls boot...

Instead of giving out unbranded chinese MF pack...I am now offering ONE geniune Zwipes MF mitt...as the prize. I was looking all over for this and comes very handy when waxing or cleaning the car because we normally have the habit of putting our spare bare hand on the car for support...this leaves smudge marks and finger prints or spoils a freshly hazed car...this mitt takes care of that...can also be used for cleaning those hard to clean places (on the car ofcourse) or getting rid of those one off dirt marks on a clean car...

however, if the winner insists on the MF pack...we can also swap that back...and I can gladly keep the spare MF Mitt.

omar bhai many tks for the share and recomendation, end of this month i am going for sales meetings in korea / thailand and i tried best to go via emirates airline so can get free stopover in dubai to fetch some of goodies from there but very sad to know its costing nearly rs200,000 whereas thai airline just rs110,000:'(

mere peyare bhai u are also right, differnt ways of application leaves differnt optic and effect.

as per words of v1
if u need beauty than first synthtic and later carnuba but if u prefer for protection than 1st carnuba and than synthtic

about synthtic i tell u it having great sticking properties, first time i applied ample qty of glaze and failed to properly message and penitrate into car skin , glaze having differnt oils and i applied synthtic on that oily / wet surface of car and wonder still it caught the surface, just try it and see the wonders

if u need beauty with protection also than go for this combination..

saca plus mr waseem is really a nice person i have met him about 3 times and he is really a gentleman and give best recomendations.

i would propose you

1) turtle ice shampoo price arround 850
2) turtle ice synthtic polish ( infact wax ) about 1300
3) micro fiber cloth about 250

as a starter kit i understand its good enough

for oxidation u have to try claybar price may be 2000 plus

for interior stp , turtle also have interior spray
