Personally I believe and agree with most...the red margalla and the grey alto stole the show...@7111 very nicely done civic...body kit in white kee baat hee kuch aur hai...I especially like the black incorporated in the lip extension...I was waiting to see when I'll get to see a two tone extension (I wanted mine red and black...but not too keen on getting it taken off and taking it to the painter)...

Lahore HQ has done a brilliant GTG...well time to put the Karachi chapter atleast woken up an stirred...

So far we are three waxeteers for the meet on coming sunday...well hopefully few more will join warna hum teen hee cha sha peelayngay...

Omer bhai, this logo design for DC is outstanding.... i think, nothing can be better than this logo. I wish this logo to become the official DC logo, and printed on windscreen stickers (u and the konsultant know better how to do it)

Hello friends..

To day i had a chance to catch up with @AHMAD_YAR at his place in Lahore surrounded by leafy green trees and very quiet location, he welcomed me whole heartedly. This was the first time i was meeting him in person besides lots of friendly coversations on this thread.

after sitting few minutes in lush green garden, Ahmed Bhai suddenly got up and ran towards the tap and said.. " Yes - - Pani aa gaya :). Then he forced me to bring my car into his garage. He insisted so much that i eventually brought my car in and then saw Ahmed Bhai with his weapons being brought out.... Out of blues, i saw him cleaning my car, with water running over it and rubbing with soft hands with a fresh clean micro fiber to get rid of all the dirt that it got accumulated yesterday ( as it was raining in Lahore). Then he srted the shampoo process and all the time i was asking to let me do it but i think he goes deaf while he is working passionately on the cars. As i didn't has any cleaning stuff in my car so i was helpless and he was not giving me another microfiber or any piece of cloth.

Well, shampoo was done and in that process i managed to grap the water hose so i started rinsing the car. By the time i was rinsing the boot, Ahmed Bhai already started drying the hood and again he was in NO LISTENING MODE. Eventually i found a microfiber and started drying the boot and lower end areas.

Then came a shine in Ahmed Bhai's eyes as he was holding bottle of glaze...(reminded me SULTAN RAHI holding Gandasa - and saying oye chada gaa nahi.....)

I again asked to let me do or try it but as he was in NO LISTENING MODE he glazed 90% of the car. At that stage an Entry was made by our famous and one and only Vague_one (usman Bhai).

after greeting he took an eagle eye look at the car from all sides and said.. where is the Turtle Synthetic Car Polish,,,,.. and wasting no time he started waxing the car,,,,, Now it was Usman Bhai is NO HEARING MODE as me and ahmed bahi insisted so many times that let us do it but noway man that was hearing.

Well, waxing was done,,,,,no came the time to take the wax off...and guess what who did it... not me, not hmed bhai,,, it was again Usman Bhai (and he was fasting today as well) and still full of energy and passion and taking wax of the car.

Usman's way of applying wax something to learn from, very very thin layer and all even. Some experts wont get that thin and even layers with with the machines tht usman got with hands.

eventually, the car was done in no time and now it is bling bling. All this was not scheduled or anything. it was just a catch up and it ended in this exciting excercise.

After that Usman bhai departed to check some patient ( i mean car) and Ahmed bhai was ready to eat after working on my car. He already did 2 cars before this excercise and we had mouth watering delicious home made KEEMAY WALAY PARATHAY and in desert we hadd home made hot GAJAR KA HALWA.

after having all the yummy in our tummy, we concluded the meeting and i came home to give it a mother's carnuaba coat.

Well Ahmed Bhai thanks for all the hospitality today and Usman bhai really appriciated your arrival and your passion for detailing.

usman bhai as i said he is best teacher , he always teach best application ways which endup with surprizing results, we observed thinest layer of wax by hand application and its fun to taking off such thin layer wax

Yes it is so true. All my school college and uni buddies are abroad and i was only left with 1 friend here in lahore with me. thanks to Usman's thread, i am now friend with him and ahmad yar in person. Plus plenty of friends on this thread and most of them will be comming to gtg tomorow and BINGO...a new friendship chapter will start.

The thread has progressed really well since i last posted. Kudos to Usman Bhai and all other detailing fans!
I see quite a lot of detailing freaks who have entered the scene! I still remember the days when this thread first started! hats off to you Usman Bhai! InshAllah I'd be joining you and Aamir bhai at the GTG tomorrow!
Well then how about i plunge into the technicalities of detailing?
About de-waxing, Mistero here mentioned the use of detailing spray for de-waxing. now my question is that mostly the detailing sprays like platinum series from Turtle Wax contains carnuba n polymer base which basically acts to form another layer over your old wax and enhances the depth, so how can it remove the previous layer?
Yes, it might contain abrasives to cut the previous wax layer, but will they be enough for a complete de-waxing?
A thorough explanation will be deeply appreciated.
I use Blazin Glaze or Turtle Wax Heavy Duty Car Wash for de-waxing purposes. Usually, special purpose degreasers are availabe for de-waxing like 3M's General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner.

about de-waxing u can go for mother step 1 and i have personal experince few days back that blazin glaze is also like a de-waxing thing as iss ko kerne ke bad "sab kuch dikhta hai " all swrils come back

Finally you people get to know me, its Naveed Chaudhry with the dirtiest Black Honda City 2007 at the meet ;p Well, I came to say thanks to Usman Vague_One for detailing my ride on the very next morning to new year'e eve, I could tell he was in a hangover from last night's party hence he did not do the whole ride himself Joking usman bhai.. ;p

Aamir bhai Accord7362, for a wonderful time both at the meet and lunch table, thanks for the food, although it was not fair that you paid for us.. will definitely look for the red Honda City in Lahore now.. My ride was parked next to his and it gave a perfect contrast of being dirty and neat I felt embarrassed for a moment but then I felt okay cause it pumped up most of the detailers to do my ride

Yawar Bad_Cheeta, thanks for the advice man, the only audiophile I could spot at the meet, next time you'll see the ride in lashhh pashhh state don't worry.. and if you don't bring your Honda I would steal your ride and your girlfriend lol for not answering my calls..

In the end, I would like to thank everybody, most of them were new to me.. everybody was excited and had fun.. And believe it or not, I followed my GPS to the venue and it made me follow a route through bhatti waal.. WTF, I drove through a village, people and buffaloes were starring at me.. and I promised to myself never to follow my GPS, this was the reason I was late.. still I drove through the bumpy and dirty way, there was no road, I thought where the f u c k is bahria town on my GPS.. It was my second visit to any society out of Lahore lol and I am bad at remembering ways..

And Umair, man, not a single picture of me and my ride among tons of others? Not fair

omar bhai appreciate kind words, actually all brothers here just giving me respect may be i am eldest among them other wise nothing special in me bus inn sab ka peyar hai, infact i am still student of detailing here and learning from all of u, before becoming part of this family i was thinking to buy mehran for kids and this alto take from them for my personal use , later i decided buy new cultus for me and now planing for black xli (presently i dont have more than this ) yes black xli as real love of detailing tie up with black, red, grey..., my some of funds stuck in tractors hehe yes tractor, my younger brother do some trading kind of work and he use to supply tractors for afghanistan market since last month there is tenshion between usa/ pak/ afghanistan so borders are sealed and this tractor business is totaly down and my some of funds also stuck, hopefully in next couple of days situation improve than will go for xli booking ( cant pay on as already lending some amount from state bank ( my father :-#)) than i will fulfill my DETAILING THURk:P

I think more or less, we both got into this field together around the same time in November last year and we are from the same age group...plus similar back stories...so I really identify with you and we have almost similar attitude...so the respect atleast from my side is beyond the age factor...I also admire and look upto the fact that how fast you have become a practicing guru and how quickly you have developed that NATURAL WAX depth in your logic...sirjee Jazak Allah and Masha Allah and Inshah Allah (so that this continues)...

My personal advice...black pur detailing ka maza hee kuch aur hai...but you want real eye candy in detailing...go for Red...which I believe is like CANDY for a sweet toothed detailer. In the world of detailing yeh resale walee bateein sub bakwaas hain...white aur black ziyada jaldee biktee hain..abhee amir lady in red kee sale ka naara lagadein and I can bet everything I have on the fact that it will be sold faster than anyone can say "No resale of red"

But black is good as well...love the results but very tiresome daily care...

Sare detailer JAHAZHOON ko mera salam and sorry for 2 days absence on pakwheels as these 2 days were extreme busy for preparation of detailer’s EID:) yes I call it EID as I was feelings same excitement which usually I felt for eid in my childhood

Friday evening almost 8:30 pm I back home from office and at that time raining in Lahore and rain really made me worried for 8<SUP>th</SUP> gtg preparation, talk with usman bhai and he so kind offered me any kind of help for detailing my car, then brief me about event planning and inform one of member “jugnu “ coming straight from Islamabad for this gtg.

Next day was off so got up 6 am, shampoo my s500 alto :P, than glaze, then sealant , about 9:00 am my assistant reached my place with his 1 week old grey alto, did shampoo, turtle ice synthetic and final carnauba detailer series and final turtle detailer wipe ( since bhai sb ne car apni mengater ko dekhani thi means “show time “ so I did carnauba on top, Alhamdollila mangeter sahiba buhat kush hueen to see new car first time wo be blingooo…

About 12:00 noon kashif bhai ( thekonsultant ) arrived with his Mashallha very clean white city, did shampoo but since white col so needed repeated shampoo process, than glaze though real optical effect of glaze comes on dark shades but still kashif bhai observed the difference in depth ness in paint ( all the time dr v1 ( usman bhai ) and umair ( ksc101) in touch and finally usman bhai also joined us, every time I did any car with usman bhai I learn any new technique from him and this time I learnt the most thinnest application of wax really its amazing , I tell u guys if we follow this thinnest application there would be 2 most important factors can achieve, 1) wax easily take off 2) with one wax jar can do 60+ applications means save money for new jar…:-#

I think at 4:00pm kashif left and at about 5 pm usman bhai got call from1122 one serious patient , since my ambulance was close to the patient house so usman bhai briefed me on phone and I rushed over there for initial life saving treatment ( shampooing in my supervision ) in the mean time dr v1 also reached there, full treatment started on patient, its huge black bullet proof , night vision lc 2011, it was hell to dry up such huge suv and than treatment specially on roof with machine which dr v1 did with full dedication further lack of light also hurdle but still dr v1 fight hard to survive the patient, further we had time limit till 10:pm so its also disturbing dr v1 as he don’t like time limits with patients ( Mashallha buhat peyar hai unko patients sey ) any way at 10:00 pm finished work but dr v1 not seems satisfy so announced “need further treatment “
Back home had dinner and faced suspected looks of wife, I assured her I am not getting typical 40’s naughty.. at 11:30 pm comes on pw but so sad 12:00 mid night light go went gone ho gye so sona perd gyia

Next morning 7 am got up as its detailer’s eid day , did some extra treatment on my “s” series dulari .. though I got bath with lifebuoy last eid but since its also new eid so this time I get serviced myself with better stuff ( safeguard ) 7 bemaryion se mahfooz

After 3 or 4 km drive I remembered I forget my bb at home , turned back to fetch it and than again rush for bharia town as usman bhai called twice to knew my where about ..

Amir bhai and 2 brothers silver civic wale bhai ( sorry forget names) they were our hosts as they lives in bharia town they escorted us to the main venue point in BT , amir bhai and kashif bhai so kind to brought drinks and we enjoyed to touch skin of every car, engine bay, music systems, detailing stuffs, some r18 pw group members also joined us and we all enjoyed their engine bays with many modifications , did photo sessions , amir bhai/ usman bhai planning for the lunch but so bad I got call from one property dealer for the deal of my plot in izmir socity ( near BT) so had to leave and could not join for the lunch, though physically I left from there but my heart left behind with u my brothers

Chad na praa, I just did a little wax, indeed Ahmed bhai was the hardcore dude here.......the car was meticulously done.....bhooth alla glaze hui wi thi, an the wash was spot on.....couldnt find a single flaw in it.......Hats off Ahmed bhai, tussi great hoo! An then I pulled in Ahmed bhai for another detail near his house an the gentleman he is, turned up on request an started the wash......Ahmed bhai, JazakAllah! Indeed your kind an humble nature is second to none.
