Detailing experts, can you help me with this... shine of steering wheel of marked portion is gone, by look it seems like that someone has rubbed it with sand-paper
At one workshop foreman was saying that he can fix this with some polish, but I never got time to go back to him, secondly he was asking quite much $

Can anyone tell which products to use and how to apply for fixing this?

Well , i got da stuff from Mughal Autos , Mcload Road , asked my czn to get this stuff for me .... and to b honest , i havnt paid for this stuff yet , uploading pics wid prices was to get an idea abt da price and product !! nuffin else .... and till nw ... :S ... no 1 is srslly being to the point !!

I love detailing but living in Karachi.So i gave up!I do have a clean 00 Civic but i just don't feel like getting in detailing because as soon as i stop cleaning it again dust starts to settle.Hired a guy who cleans my car in just 400Rs per month.In 400Rs per month no one should expect anyone going in details.

@RapShap...I am in Karachi too and I have a BLACK R18...I am now heavily into detailing...and i am loving it...fresh dust on a highly detailed and protected car is much better than dust on naked paint...

dear detailing isnt everything about Bling Bling its about protecting ur cars finish and looks so it lasts way beyond the normal life cycle.its a healthy hobby and will save u in long terms as far as the paint is concerned. U might be paying just 400 but the amount of damge to the paint that johnny would be doing will be evident in a couple of months.clear coat screwed,swirls,scratches,n worse due to excessive rubbing worn out paint from the edges exposing primer. Id rather keep my car dirty than getting it cleaned from an unprofessional or a person who has least knowledge n passion to do the work. Id always encourage my son to mess around and spend time with cars over spending money on liqour,drugs and women!

Well i was into same confusion some 2-3 months ago when i sold my white alto, like urs the thing is, Prime age people says go for Toyota as it is a more durable, maintenance and parts are somehow cheap as compare to Honda.. you can drive toyota in all Kacha'Pakka areas bla bla..
But when it comes to Honda, the comfort level and smooth drive is here
instead of Xli, GLI is much better..

All i can suggest you, get a drive of both these cars and then decide My Honda ride is always there for Test drive, .. Make some plan and Drive it on highway, M2, Bahria Town and ofcourse inside City/crowded areas.. Anytime, anywhere you want

Honda City and GLi has around 2~2.5 lakh Price difference as well.. :S

& regarding Photography, na sharminda karain janab, as i told, maray hath first time camera laga tha, see all these pictures are from Pro camera, but the cameraMan was so Aaanari that it looks like the pic came from mobile camera.. in next meet, i have to discuss these things with Junaid bhai and also with Jugno bhai as i am planning to invest money in some basic camera.. Amir bhai camera was also good, reading reviews over amazon, so fingers crossed

yar umair i have been honda fan since 2004 to april 2011 with my eagle eye silver exi and when i was going for booking that in 2004 at that time my father suggested me rolla and this time again he wish rolla :P, another reason rolla is bigger and wider in body so my real punjab ka gabru style father can easily fit in ( kashif bhai witness ), no doubt city is more stylish and young look and very good accelaration ( which i heard on pw and from amir bhai on gtg ) and perfect for me as i also posess same quailities in me :-# but cabin is little tight for my family use , one of my good friend having new shape rolla and i got chance to taste it, accelartion less (sure due to huge body), but suspensions felt me more comfortable even better than my ex eagle eye:o, power starting much much better, bracks :(, seats comfy and in last my heart also like its wide decent looks:)

bhai gee xli ke pasee ho saktey hain for the moment not for gli but promiss in next 2 years i will upgarde to grey civic INSHALLHA:)

JAZAKALLHA for the kind offer of test drive , even going for rolla still i love to this test drive

now for photography, apart joke ur work not bad, yes i agree junaid work fall in professional range but still u are eligible to shoot my new wedding

Detailing was done on Sunday (today is wednesday) and a detailer wipe on Monday...the car was not touched yesterday and was given a dry wash (sponge wash wipe) only this morning at 7 am.

Please have a look at the condition after 5 hours of doing water treatment only and the car has been driven 10 kms this morning on the dusty roads of karachi on a lil windy and dusty day (normal for Karachi)...I do the cleaning and detailing myself and thus save the 400 rs.

oh by the way that chromey reflection off the base of the grill...well...interesting fact...the grill frame is PLASTIC..and I have not gotten it painted...as I loved the muted contrast...check how the WAXED plastic is reflecting like chrome

I took 2 months to select this camera after talking to some high end camera guy , who start from looking at manufacturer of lens in this case this sonyhx100V has carl zeiss , sensors , GPS , how it behave in night mode , to cut short , people who are in to this field , do research & than select which is best for you.
Dabay pay made in Japan likhaa hooaaa hay , dont kn banaa kahaa hayy may be Gawal-mandi:(

bhai jan pleased to note u have nice model of civic and u also get detailed from a guy on monthly bases @rs400, i am sure in this amount that guy must be using neli, peli polish dabyian which are harmful for paint life and enough abrasive , i am sure u love ur car than pls also show ur love to car and buy better waxing stuff, mico fibers for her and try once with your own hands as jitna app apni car ko peyar kertey hain dosra koi or nahi ker sakta and i asure you this will keep glowing ur car skin for longer time period and also helpful for you in tearms of better re-sale value, i am sure once u waxed your hands on car than u will never allow your hired person to touch its skin, u are in karachi so highly recomend you to contact @mistero he is such a nice supporting guy with good knowledge about this detailing stuff which will surely help you to re-cope your car dull skin into shiny, @mistero is arranging 1st karachi detailing crew gtg on 15 feb pls ref this thread
