I highly doubt that, whats available here is Royal Shield, and quite frankly i find it stupid and a waste of money, if you want to let some noobs handle your car, you're more than welcome to take it to Royal Shield, i've had an extremely bad experience with them on a friends Accord.

The best way is to wax your car with a natural wax and top it off with a synthetic, if not satisfied, you can get sealent and clear coat in cans, imported from abroad.

If not even that, there is one product by turtle which usman bhai(v1) and i had had a discussion about, it lasts for a month or so in our environment, i cant seem to recall its name, but i do remember him telling me about it.

If i were you, i would stick to the normal way, wax every week, Natural+Syntheic. If not every week, then twice a month would suffice. You could buy a good pair of waxes, and take it to a service station for application.

One of my friend imported Toyota Belta 2006 from Japan and it came with a sticker already put on its left rear window's quarter glass, as the attached pic shows. I also saw the same sticker on the Vitz of some other friend. I was wondering if something similar is available in the local market to ease myself of the hectic routine of weekly waxing?

I see so many things wrong with this pic alone. Check out the cracks between the panes,the dirt buildup. Scratched tints, dried up rubber. Externally, this car probably badly needs a shampoo and some conditioning. You'll have to do it regularly to keep it healthy and dirt buidup to minimum. And that's the most boring part (if there is any). Waxing is where the fun really begins
A year or so ago, i would be out with my friends partying around in the evenings mostly doing useless stuff i'd forget about the very next day. Today, i spent the whole evening and some night restoring my side visors (listening to Adele and Pink Floyd). it was lovely. Plus i can look at it tomorrow and feel good about it. I see no point in buying me an excuse to never have to do it again

sir i am from play group;),its all natural expressions of me upon seeing the after effects of PS though i was'nt having such scene in any corner of my mind as were playing before with toys like engine cleaners.
I know the hose pipes are made of multy layering rubber and canvas and they are strong enough but i was thinking over other vulnerable coolant supply pipes which were showing me traces of green apple juice:P over their ends under the clamps.
There is no hard feelings bhai jan,i am taking my short commings as a chellange and would always like to follow the experienced ones.
Lust for the Taleem-e-detaileraaaan;) is increasing day by day now.

The facts are 6 year old vehicle ran under the hands of unknowledgeable people before me,i got it when it was 65k on odo and in one year i have taken it to 73 something.Bringing back origional shine will take time and your guidance and obviously your ''Malish'' aswell.No hifi camera,no photogharphy skills,no rotary, and still i got merely passing marks from you,thats enough for me:) may i know on which place i am standing? ... out of hundred?

Skill bhai MashAllah your car has come a long way since the last time i saw it. Very nice! Your engine bay though, you said you were gonna add just a little water and use a relatively concentrated solution. Did you do it that way or did you dilute it at 1:1? Because if you didn't, you didnt add enough water to activate the whole solution. Diesel nai use karna tha though. Interior looks awesome. I say aik dafa Dr.saab key touch lagwaiyn and get a little guidance from him aswell

Baray Omar bhai, you're glowing MashAllah everywhere. It's a treat to follow your posts. Wish i could see your cars in person. Infact i've yet to see a vehicle treated by a DC member within my city aswell. But yours because you guys have got this awesome energy going on which i love, and your attention to detail. And your learning curve is brilliant! I'd like to catch up with you guys and 'pop my cherry' with 3M aswell but im going slow right now. For now, im a Mothers guy. Even though i always thought i'd never want to use synthetics, but, your enthusiasm has made me want to try the performance finish. See now you're inspiring people :p. I spend time on mechanical aspects aswell so it might take me some time. But, next stop, 3M or pinnacle. Waiting for somebody to head this way. Damn i cant skip GC now can i :s

Glad you liked it...and great that you want to play around with 3M...but just remember...there is a massive rush for 3M...Karachi mein stock khatam hogaya hai :D....but when I put it on and loved it...I had thoroughly prepped up the surface before putting it...It wasn't as simple as washing and then waxing...I had spent 2 hours plus in between my wash and 3M in prepping up the surface...and that is how I got the look, secondly the 3M was topped with the black detailer...so it was a combo of everything...

furthermore, it all depends on how you look at your car...some people enjoy the glazey effect on the flat surfaces...for those I do not recommend 3M...I on the other hand...am in love with the curves on my car or any car for that matter...and 3M just does wonders to the curves...so that is why I love it...one has to understand his car's curves to really understand the ultimateness of 3M...

aur GC...bhai jaan...GC kee kya baat hai...a really good carnauba is essential in any detailer's kit whether he is a die hard user of 3M, pinnacle or wolfie...top grade carnauba is essential...

GC does attract a lot of dust, but as you explained it is powdery and extremely easy to remove.

Yes absolutely right...and I am finding this to be much better than that stubborn dust that accumulates otherwise...I guess abroad GC actually does let dust slip off because that is what it is doing here as well but as Zunny pointed out ( a very interesting learning for me) that our dust is quite a few microns smaller/thinner than what is there in the west...and that is what is being left over on our surfaces...the largers grains I guess are just slipping off...

any ways as said in my previous post...GC will remain to be a part of my active kit....

sir Thank you for the offer...but as V1 pointed out...I am currently staying away from major abrasives. The orange peel is on the entire car because it is an OEM paint finish defect and is there in every HONDA CIVIC and CITY that is on the road here...infact I have even found it in most of the imports...and I would rather keep the paint in OEM state.

Plus if I remove it, then I can guarantee you during resale, it will be refered to as a re-painted car as no one will believe me otherwise...you'd be surprised that most of the people here judge the number of panels touched up by the uniformity of the orange peel, as only us detailers know what it is and 99.99 percent of the car owners here do not ...plus the thok bajana on the panels as well....you remove major microns and you've changed the melody of the car ...

Plus our Jap cars have at max 80 microns of paint and I reckon I would need to remove atleast one fourth of that to remove the orange peel...add to that another 5-10 microns that I will remove in the long run to get rid of swirls and stuff...leaving me with only 50 microns or less on the car and that too if I am very careful in maintenance...rather risky wouldn't you say...and the lower the microns, the higher the chances of scratches reaching the primer...which is most probably lying at 15-16 microns depth...

Plus between you and me...I actually like the orange peel look on my car...well for one thing when I add depthness over it...it sorta gives me this relative background versus a flat feel (kya karon I have an artist buried deep in me) plus the orange peel is uniform all over the car...it sorta looks good...

Well I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at the College and University level but I do detail on the side, just so I can justify spending more money on product if you know what I mean. This I am going to have a blast as I am teaming up with a big detailer for some big cars..."Bently Flying Spur" big... will upload all projects that come my way.
