2006 model eminent....115000km on the odo... everything original but sadly she is gone... aur jab jab is k new owner k paas dekhta hu isko mera nervous breakdown ho jata hai i still miss her....

after a loong break the indigo brothers are back.... sab se pehle ahmad bhai and aamir bhai welcome back..... ahmad bhai bari kamaal ki cheezain le k aaye hain mashallah...... well as it rained cats and dogs last week and also had to go to my village the car was a mess.... aaj time mil hi gaya so without any further delay got to work..... sab se pehle full pressure walay paani se removed the dirt and mud from the fenders and mudguards.... then applied 10 rupay wala bonus jo khaandan bhar k kapray dhoye to the tyres then shampooed my silverado with mothers gold class shampoo, wasnt satisfied so again shampooed her with mothers gold class car wash and wax shampoo..... after drying her up, applied mothers sealer and glaze and went for a coke break... yes guys coke... because coke is the secret to my energy:-P came back and wiped the wax of... then applied mothers carnuba wax... left it to dry and in the meanwhile applied turtle wax chrome polish on the grill, the red logos, the emblems on the rims and the exhaust tips... wiped it off and then went for juma..... after coming back from the juma applied mothers high gloss wax and in the meanwhile applied stp tyre foam spray and mothers tyre polish... quickly wiped the wax off and voila....... my silverado is lush push again....

Yar ghayab na ho jaya karo, Aamir bhai ayen hain to aap bhi shair ban g@y hoo...warna mahenay guzarjatay hain aap ka pata bhi nahin lagta...ghabrao nai, koi yahan par kuch nai kehta ap ko! Though nice work you pulled off on yer ride, meticulous as ever....now for those who say silver dont shine...you get all the shine in here...just love the warm glow the car`s oozing out.......nicely kept cars my man, adore the Liana, somehow this is one of the very few that has looked pleasing to my eyes...else I have different ideas about them, not pleasant to share here...an the FX....guess you got the X back with the F ma man! Cool rides....bask in the glory that is Indigo my fellow detailer brethren! Tripple whammy and you have done the hood proud!

Just massage a lottttttttttttta dash polish onto it wont remove them but will mask them, otherwise this part is plastic, wetsand it, an then paint it again in the same colour, need an expert to do this....

a job for armoraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal, it temporarily fixes dried plastic very well, might as well work on these scratches

Aight, been a while I detailed, this thing was on hold cuz it was gettin a new kit.....routine followed was tyre wash without scrubbing...

glazed, waxed an then synthetic wax to protect.

the mighty chrome look without 3M.....I made my tummy disappear !

Gracious! Mind you this was done at a point when I have food poisoning, I havent left the bed all of last week due to my aching back, I got me some very high temp, to the extent that I close my eyes an they burn!!! An to top it off, the elec was gone, so did it all by hand....phew.....so who was the one picking up detailing challenges with me ???? An that someone must also note the tyres are gelled, they dont have water on em....learn to use a prod before you go on yappin about its genuineness!

Waisay 3M thoree bohat to use kee hogee... you mentioned 3M and not performance finish

Btw yeh Lahore mein kisee kay pass generator nahi hotay??? yaar 1.5 crore plus kee lan cruijer rakhee hai to kum uz kum 50 nahi to 25Kva ka generator to hona chaheeyay

Maybe Usman, one thing to look into is to invest into a small generator, maybe a 2kv one for your detailing...something that could just power a k'archer and then the rotary.

sir waisey daad bhee daynee hai, salams bhee daynay hain aur as per Raven class bhee laynee hai for tackling such a job and that too by hand in such a physical state...sir kuch to body detailing ka khayal rakhein and I do not mean car body detailing...

It's a pressure wash bottle with a hand pump. For a lot of smaller jobs, a large electric pressure washer may not be feasible. Same is the case for certain solutions. With a K'archer type pressure washer it's mainly used for water washes and snow foaming. However, when it comes tackling smaller areas, where specific liquid solutions have to sprayed with pressure...this bottle comes in handy. You pump the lever on the top a few times to build air/gas pressure inside the bottle, press the trigger and the pressure is released with force alongwith the liquid inside it.

In this case Usman is using this bottle to pressure clean and loosen the stubborn grim which may not have been removed with just a pressure wash and requires some sort of a degreasing solution. Plus a lot of areas cannot be handled by a brush as they are either too tight (corners and stuff) or by using a scrubber you might risk putting scratches on the finish around it...(why we pressure wash a dirty car in the first place).

oh btw if you read Usman's post...he mentioned that he did the car w/o electricity...so could be that the K'archer wasn't working...and he is just washing the difficult area with a hand pressure technique vs using a normal pressure less garden hose

@ ustad jee, sometimes i feel that i apply the wax too thin or too thick, can you show a reflection pic with the wax freshly applied (not buffed off) so that i can see if i am applying it right
