@chaudhary...
You bought good stuff...
No need for any additional wax...you are good for the time being.
Maintain focus on getting used to detailing, get your application and technique right, and get to know the surface of your car....that should be your primary agenda.
Forget about cutting, compounding or claying at this stage.
Towel you got....dont cut..just use for drying only...dont wipe with it.
Week one...do the five step wash...apply cleaner wax and blended wax...maintain during week with detailer and a mild shampoo wash. Week 2 just repeat wash steps and jump straight away to blended wax (skip cleaner wax)...week three go for full regime. By week 4 you should have an idea if your car needs an additional wax coat or not.
Never leave a car without atleast a detailer wipe after wash. So when u wash on non detailing days make sure you follow up with a detailer wipe afterwards.
Your box must have come with two wax applicators. Use those for the applications. Do not mix them. Also read carefully the instructions on the back. The cleaner wax for example has to applied n massaged on a 2x2 section of the car and then removed immediatly. It has to be removed with a damp mf...moistened by the black detailer. When you start doing a panel, visually n mentally divide the panel in 2x2 sections n plan the order you will tackle them...you do not want to forget where you started n where u stopped.
When you come to the wax stage apply very very thin coating. Normally we have a tendancy of applying enough product that we can see on the paint with our eyes...remember if you can see it...it is too much. Also wax has to be applied in unified strokes...start with circles...apply in overlapping circles and not haphazard lines...use a different mf for taking this off...
After taking off...buff lightly with a fresh mf...buff is similar to the way we bring the shine o our shoes after applying and removing polish...you know those lightening fast very light no pressure wipes. After this give a slow final wipe to the whole car and by slow i mean very very slow.
Final wipe can also be given with the detailer....
Use the detailer sparingly....spread your sprays....try to do the whole car in 10 - 15 sprays...usman does it in 7 i do it now in 12-13...
After detail, wash all mfs and pads used...seperately in warm water with liquid soap (rinse...soak in soapy water for an hour or so and the rinse)
Also google for mf folding method...mf has to be folded twice before being used for a wipe, check for tutorial videos on waxing on you tube (it will show you how to hold the pad, how o remove, how to buff etc) and also check bb results on you tube...your aim should be to get as close to that as possible.
You will make mistakes...dont worry...i still make em...the idea is to get you graduated from detailing 101 in two months...
