now comes the part for the bad face... and mood ofcourse

so what am i up to... well yesterday... gave a full double bath to my car with turtle ice shampoo... couple of panels at a time only... it was beeding and sheeting nicely, used a lot of water to make sure only very less water remains on the body for drying...

used fresh microfiber to dry the droplets that had left on some areas (very few)

After drying used turtle platinum series liquid wax applying with hand, letting it haze and then removing with microfiber... again mainly couple of panels at a time...
when i was finishing with the wax buffing... i noticed small droplets on the boot cover and rear windscreen and damn it had starter to drizzle and wind picked up and dust started to come in...

i use liquied hand wash however if u dont have than can use car shampoo as car shampoo mild and having oils/ waxs to keep m/f clothes soft, i had bad experince with strong ditergents as m/f nap became harsh, hard and stiff and lost its mellow ness.

will try to wipe it off and share the results.

wese, i have used synwax, turtle platinum wax, mothers step two sealer and glaze... but dont know why the effects are not much there... i think i should move back to giving the car a full cleansing bath with hand massage before i proceed to wax or sealant.

i went to F-8 PSO to check out the prices of Mothers products...

i have turtle ice shampoo,is one cap of it enough for 4 litres of water?
i used 1.5 cap n still there wasnt enough foam....

as for cloth's,used surf for it but since all 3,orange blue n pink were in one bucket,so pink n blue got colour of orange on it

will wash again at morning time

wese i would like to say something, specially to the newbies, including me...
Its about the side shot to show reflection...
well first and foremost... the reflections we see in many cars posted by some of the better detailers are not going to be same or even at par with the ones we are going to make... its not cuz some how we have low grade products or we cant do the job (ofcourse we cant do the job as good as the seniors) but we do the job well (if we follow the tips of seniors and show patience)
the reason their pics are way better than ours is because the treatments their cars have gone through, the time and effort put in to it, not this one time detail but the many details before hand, the many file polishing sessions, the many glazing and sealing sessions and much much more has gone into the protection and care of the surface of their cars that even a quick detailer will do wonders with their ride...
the point of my post is not to discourage or anything like that... its to say a simple thing dont try to compare your ride with the ride of others, compare your ride to your own ride, just include the time difference.
as you may have seen the pics posted by ahmed bhai, they are comparison of his own car with before and after, and i can bet these pics will be used as comparison even 5 years down the road (if he still has that car) to show and see what wonders the detailing has done to the car.

so please dont try to duplicate the images of others, specially the side shots taken by keeping the camera right next to a panel and showing the reflections.

I would like to ask some of our senior members to make some standard shots, such as the Aamir Bhai shots (full car shots from a simple angle), that 1- show the work at it best and 2- show the work at its worst.
This will definitely help in posting shots in this thread and also help us identify where we are wrong, so we can correct it.

We should also make a standard that the images posted here should be unprocessed (though i believe we all do post unprocessed images only yup we are good)
and only show pictures (from get together and car shows should be processed and that too should not harm or enhance the genuine look and feel)

i went to the market after posting my question so you guys were late anyway i got the sonax interior cleaner after testing it on the car it did leave a matte finish and no shine at all and so relection so it worked for that puropose but since my car was just recently serviced and cleaned so i didnt feel much of a difference either :S

why not rinse the car thoroughly and put shampoo direct on ur washing mitt

I m the first owner of Honda civic 2005 pearl black colour and its swirl paint minor scratches make me worry about that there are some pics attach and sorry for bad camera hope it will help you and also suggest me go for a polish than wax or just wax it??????(brand & price)

Being inspired from this thread got Meguiar' GC and probably 1st time in my life waxed my Alto 2005 myself. Here are few pics though actual results looks much better than these 3.2mp pix. Will improve with the passage of time and guidance of experts IA
