My car was parked near paint shop and got over spray on almost every corner possible. should i go for routine cutting from some detailer as my car also has light swirl marks or use clay kit for over spray. i also have to keep budget in mind.

i didnt had a good cam,pics taken by cell of first detailing BLACK BOX WAX on my car,it was done last week,didnt had a data cable then so posting pics now
no fresh pics since its burried in dust now

btw this time do i need to do step1 pre wax or direct step 2 wax ?

If I were you I`d go for a clay bar, an then a slight glaze with a quality wax....!

^^^ +1 for clay bar.. Clears the over-spray easily..
Same thing happened to my civic, used mothers claybar as per usman bhai's instructions and completely got rid of the spots..

Detailed my city after almost a year.. After it's accident in august, it was only waxed once.. So today was it's lucky day (H)..
Washed with mothers wash n wax.. Than clayed it with mothers clay.. Then two coats of gold class followed by a single coat nxt were applied...

Wah Wah this 1.5 4x4 seems to me as 5.5 8x8 :o , love to see that you transfer your energy & weight in to it :D:P:-# MASHALLAH you youngsters start crossing the boundaries , MASHALLAH bohat zabardast lag rahee hayy & indeed you got some skills with your third eye

If you compare Mothers Reflections Top Coat with Wolfgang Paint Sealant, which one is better in terms of
1. Application
2. Gloss / looks
3. Durability

1------ both are user friendly
2------ both are good depend where , when & how you are applying
3------ wolf

but let me write down it again, I saw ppl getting fed up & disappoint with the products when its wont act like the way it behave on some one's else ride.

same product ------ same color two rides-------different result

To start on with, Mothers reflections top coat is brilliant product & its one of my favorite.

after ur alto's interior detailing this one real blast from you:)
mashallha very clean and reflecty ride. no doubt reflections are extremly beautiful. its jdm paint though still have some orange peel but in comparison with pdm paint quality 100 times better paint so clear and mirror like reflections allways depnd upon paint surface smoothness.

ok ye tu achi achi bateen ho gye na ab about imperfection:) as being ur elder brother i feel right to talk about missing thing and that missing thing is "jetness" in colour , real "blackness" is little missing in paint which can easily gain by right product like dodo purple haze or even megs gc 2 applications in base before nxt can also achive goal.

According to my personal way,if you go through the step1 with perfection in applying and taking off correctly,you do not need to redo step one for at least
one month.

The product used was Mothers Carnauba Wax.
Car was first wased by water only and then Mother carnauba wax was applied. It was hand application. I applied and removed the wax by hand.

washed the car first time after the wax today,water was less on car as compared to non wax wash
driver did the drying part as i instructed but mf cloth is so small that if you patch dry,the water dries off before you even reach it :S
so he started moving the cloth with light hand n leaving the water to evaporate,it did dried off but on a close notice left some marks in a line in which cloth was used on it :S
WTH,how do you guys dry it
though even this way car dried off fine n these sort of marks are less but on close notice if u try to find them

• As a Last step of wash, use water sheeting technique, so as less water is there to wipe/dry.
• For drying, always use drying towel (i use Meguiar's water magnet). Or use more than 1 MF
• Always dry car in a shade.
• In your case the MF might not be clean. (here clean means Really Clean)

shezade use another m/f
i allways use 2 m/f , 1 for taking off water and 1 for suprem shine.... than do wax application. even after taking off wax use another clean m/f for supreem shine purpose
