but let me write down it again, I saw ppl getting fed up & disappoint with the products when its wont act like the way it behave on some one's else ride.

same product ------ same color two rides-------different result

To start on with, Mothers reflections top coat is brilliant product & its one of my favorite.

I understand the results will vary with application and vehicle. If I want to get a rough idea about durability on your vehicle, what would you say how long does the Mothers Top Coat and Wolfgang stay on your vehicle in Lahore weather, before you have to apply it.

Jazak'Allah Umair Bhai.I believe you cannot achieve this type of result in a short time, you need to work hard, keep applying high end products and eventually you ll get a very good surface.Now for the past two months, I was just washing it with plain water and nothing else(was busy due to exams),still then the reflections were amazing,that's just because the surface is prepared.

washed the car first time after the wax today,water was less on car as compared to non wax wash
driver did the drying part as i instructed but mf cloth is so small that if you patch dry,the water dries off before you even reach it :S
so he started moving the cloth with light hand n leaving the water to evaporate,it did dried off but on a close notice left some marks in a line in which cloth was used on it :S
WTH,how do you guys dry it
though even this way car dried off fine n these sort of marks are less but on close notice if u try to find them

will give you a practical exposure on how to dry ok?

• As a Last step of wash, use water sheeting technique, so as less water is there to wipe/dry.
• For drying, always use drying towel (i use Meguiar's water magnet). Or use more than 1 MF
• Always dry car in a shade.
• In your case the MF might not be clean. (here clean means Really Clean)

well a drying towel is not necessary ... and i usually dont dry the car wetting the entire MF that i have and its tooo big
shade definitely gives the edge
for drying... use a washed and dried MF

yes surface preparation is necessary, now you have time hi time keep waxing
baki .. bhai zara aur pictures bi to deakhao.. different panels, different angles.. and not to forget the Z-amir shot

ok so what was i upto on this weekended
washed with turtle ice shampoo using a foam and having the water hose nearby so that i can rinse the part i shampooed very very quickly
(I am a hater for wasting water so i have bought a muslim shower handle and attach that to the end of water hose so i have water at my disposal all the time but only use it when required. (as i have still not find a proper garden hose nozzle appropriate for cleaning car) This can be done with an other hand in the process of washing

then drying (well by then some portion of the car was into sharp sunlight of islamabad and drying was to be done really really quick)

then came the stage of massaging the cars skin with carnauba wax i used turtle platinum precision wax.

buffed the wax after hazing it

oh and the newbies these are what we called swirls
and no i don't think about using any abrasive product get rid of them

i didnt had a good cam,pics taken by cell of first detailing BLACK BOX WAX on my car,it was done last week,didnt had a data cable then so posting pics now
no fresh pics since its burried in dust now

btw this time do i need to do step1 pre wax or direct step 2 wax ?

Bro, I have some questions for you...Any parts re-painted ? Whats the part in second an third last picture? And before I go onto being a critic, let me give you a pat on the back for the job done, MashAllah, for a newbie, its good!
