[*]Kangaroo Compound (rubbing compound) (black tub)
[*]Turtle wax F-21 car polish paste (green tub)

All the gurus, what are your opinions of the above mentioned products

Go for Turtle Polish.It is the best in the above mentioned products.Did you check the abrasiveness of the product?

Oh my God I am dieing.Just ended up applying Cleaner Wax.Detailing is an addiction but sometimes it prove to be fatal

It said nothing about the abrasiveness....all I can recall is that One application lasts 1x year & clears minor scratches etc.

Does it matter if this polish is not new stock because it seemed to be lying at the shop for quite some time!

In comparison the kangaroo and formula 1 seemed new stock, kangaroo being the rubbing compound

If it says "Remove minor scratches," means it is less abrasive.
Now waiting for the experts opinion what they recommend you

vague you invited star2 over. what are you guys planning on doin. if you have an illuminated garage do check the lower part of the door some minor scratches might have been overlooked cos we barely had 1.5 hours

Regarding new an ol polishes, they just harden out.........thats usually a sign of an old wax or polish... I don't see any problems in terms of the old wax damaging your paint. Every wax has a "shelf" life when it's applied on the car. Some waxes like caranuba waxes need constant reapplication roughly twice a month to ensure proper beading and protection depending on the brand and quality. Stingray an bad can we get yer input on this??

How are you trying to actually compare them? Two of them are polishes...one`s a rubbing compound.....what are the ground of testing? Abbrasiveness?? Shine?? Swirl removal??

Sir go to montgomery road, Autoline there, authorized dealer of Mothers Products, from there buy a complete range of Mothers products.
1-Shampoo
2-Sealer and Glaze
3-Pure Carnauba California Gold
4-3 Microfibres ( washing, drying, buffing )

Otherwise if you want to buy turtle products, right next to is Saca, you can get a wide variety of turtle products from them, they are Aut. dealers

wash you car first, dry it, and then apply sealer and glaze to it, and to top off the luster affect, apply wax to it, and then take it off, for even better results apply second coat of wax, preferably synthetic wax the next day.

im sure this would help achieve what you're looking for, but if you really need to get into the nity grity details of detailing, then also get a clay bar system, a compound and a automated buffer, depending upon the compound you buy.

use armorall shampoo costs 200 from metro. For wax there are plenty of options. In carnauba wax mothers california gold is best. It costs 1700 at metro. In synthetic turtle ice and meiguars nxt are best and cost around 2300 (both cost almost same. U can get turtle from saca auto montogomery road ,they might also have meiguars. If they dnt have meiguars their neighbor autoline will. Both shops are in sunny plaza montogomery road. Id suggest u use microfiber cloths for cleaning, drying and buffing ur car to get best results.
