Great threads, happy to see people keeping the cars with so much care and passion.

I have couple of questions from detailer geeks

• There are small spots of a colored water; I applied polish and they started fading but not going away completely. People are suggesting to get the car Compound Polished. Its original paint is still shinning etc; should I keep things as-is hoping it will go away over time with routine washing / monthly polish etc or get the car compound polished (from some nice place) completely? Or just get it compound polished where there are spots?
• What you guys think about Royal Sheild treatment for a dark car? Lazy person; who cant clean/wash the dark car occassionally :-#

took the car cover,put it in a tub n all the dust came off of it
i was waiting until it becomes shady near the motor so finally took out time to wash the car as well,weather got good,windy n it was about to rain cox of which i got tensed as what if it started raining,what will i do,washed it quickly,dried off,put car cover back
car all clean n the car cover as well
n what do you know,sun came back,n its sunny again after all this rush :mad:
though its sort of good otherwise i'd had to wash it under sun

Usman bhai what is snowman marker can u put some light on this product is it with builtin colours or we can fill with our own desired paint?

Its the only silver marker that came to mind for the truelovers car.....no other reason!

can any one guide me how to remove swirls from my car i have corolla in wine red..

Since you want to remove them and not hide them, its the abrasive way.....use a polish, a swirl remover or a comp!

JazakAllah for liking the efforts of all members....

for the spots, try clay bar, or a cleaner wax ....FOR THE LOVE OF DETAILING DO NOT KAAAMPOOND PAALAASSH a car for such small things! If you must then do it only to the affected area.....as alraedy mentioned, royal shield has been discussed already many many many times here.....just search thread it !

As far as my opinion goes.......Im in the same game as they are, an I do have regular work that I do professionally and charge for as well........I dont want any controversies an disputes unfolding here........like shazo has said its been discussed here so read up the thread completely an youll find it.....JazakAllah!!

Not that I want to take anyone's business but I had it done on my car a couple of years back and atleast I am not a satisfied customer...

The wet look disappeared after a few days and the car was a major dust magnet. I kept that car for quite some time and till the last day I cursed the paint and toyota Japan for applying such a thin coat...the car would collect scratches even if sneezed on...(and imagine I had bought the damn car because of the wine red color)...it is only now that i have realized that those guys took off layers and layers of my paint with incorrect use of rotaries which caused me so much headache for the next few years.

INFACT IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE LOOK...GO TO MY PROFILE AND INTO MY ALBUM...THE PICS OF MY MARK 2 HAVE BEEN TAKEN AT THE ROYAL SHIELD PREMISES RIGHT AFTER THE SESSION BY THE ROYAL SHIELD PEOPLE THEMSELVES...

I find the job I am doing on my car now has much better and SAFER results...I am a more satisfied man now then I ever was with the finish of My Mark 2...and I am not even doing 50% the job that pros are doing here and not even using 50% the products they are using...and yet the goth mobile is front of you on this page and the last few...
