Back to business .. Product used .. 1 coat GC and Ice synthetic to seal .

I am planing to do another coat of GC and than deep crystal and than seal it with ice synthetic ...

A suggestion to all beginners including me.
Please do not suggest others if you do not have complete knowledge of the matter.
I think there should be authorised members who can advise others on complicated matters as it is a great responsibility. There is not enough room to play with the paint of car withour proper know-how.

may be fawad bahi didnt elaborate properly his meaning, he meant synthetic waxes countinus use feel like car skin dry compare to natural waxes, i 100% agree with him and u can test ur self this theory.

carnauba waxes transforms from the palm tree ( specific name copernica cerifera in brasil ) this wax breathable so it doesnt sit on car paint surface , it transforms the paint into deep so creat rich, warm, liquid pool with baby soft touch skin , in simple words i would say its moisturize the car skin but on other hand synth wax 100% man made , its made of polymers which are composed of tens of thousands of synthetic particals that are linked togather, purpose of sealent is protection instead of beauty and usualy applied under natural wax ( here in pakistan dust conditions many of detailers do vic versa i,e first natural wax and than apply syh for protection from dust etc ) since syn waxes are not breathable so they give hard shell type finish and protection , its not give warm carnauba that seems to melt into the paint. these syn waxes sit on paint and gives transparent look, yes its give watery, sleek look but in touch its relitively dry than natural wax, u will not get soft baby skin touch , lack of wet touch etc

i personaly experince on my white alto with countinus use of syn wax and in the end i found car skin lost its soft touch so i personaly favour natural waxes to keep alive skin , yes for protection u should use syn wax as well but countinus sue of syn without natural combination give u dry touch to car skin.)

Thank you for the reference of carnauba. Ive been in the detailing funk for the past 10 years. Since i was 14 maybe and uptill now ive used if not more almost around a 100 different products, so im well versed in what im saying and I say it with what ive used and seen other people doing in person.

Carnauba aka natural wax does have oils in them thats the base and that is the base for any wax. The quantity and chemistry of it differs significantly yes but really using the term dry wax is very inaccurate. Every product has its own feel again due to its chemistry and interaction with the paint. There is a reason why meguiars, turtle, mothers, dodo, wolfgang, pinnacle etc have so many different products. The list of natural waxes and syn waxes keep going on and on. And people usually dont recognize this.

I mean V1 would help you with practical examples. I can quote some though I dont have pictures. For example the honda civic 2007+ aka "reborn", has a very soft paint, highly likely to get swirls and to a certain extent very choosy about the wax you apply considering its a budget car.

While the Meguiars GCCW works amazing on it, mothers california gold does not. Its funny why would that happen. Even to the fact that when taking 2 differenet waxes from the same company, dodo waxes e.g the purple haze and blue velvet dont provide the same result on the same car with the exact same prep. So its really the chemistry of each individual product that really makes its properties.

Try using the mothers reflections series both the wax and top coat. If you want a silky feel there is almost no other wax in the same range that will give you a better feel. You can skate on the car with bare feet i can assure you and its a synthetic.

anzaidi bhai congratz for getting engaged and the paint job in ur cultus by suzuki is very perfect i thought that suzuki have never done any paint job that much perfect lucky man Good Work u deserve it did u use ice paste or liquid i feel liquid is not that effective did it bring any more depth over GC or it is just used for sealing purpose .. ?

Thanks for the reply. I gathered some courage and used the Billoxi machine (that I picked from Metro) and Cartec polish (if I am remembering right) and spots were gone. I enjoyed doing this

Today I am in Lahore and visited Saaca. What you guys think of these products? Buying detailing products for first time, and not sure from where to start and what to choose :-#

how do you guys apply rubbing compounds or polishes? I got Ultimate compound and ultimate polish..should i get new applicator pads or microfibre will work?

Well DC bros, gave my car a quickie today. I was kind of in a hurry as when I realized my car is dirty, it was a bit late. I was almost out of time. But still, I managed to do something on it.

Yesterday's rain was all over it, a 'before' picture enclosed. Just two pics after the detail, just before I took it out of the haveli, cz I was REAL late by then. But after the process, I went straight in for a shower and when i saw the car, I was like (H). Chaa gya bachay.

Gave it a thorough wash, applied a thin coat of cosmic, cleaned glass wd Glint, and treated all plastic parts with STP. Took me 45 mins only...

and dear bros, do tell me the flaws in the process. Pardon the scratched and misaligned bumpers as motorcyclists hate this car to death. :S:S

Ive been here and as a silent member for a while and a few people know me as well i guess.

I appreciate the detailing spirit and enthusiasm this thread has genereated and mostly the credit goes to Vague and obviously everyone else who is present and has been contributing.

Though i feel the competition (which i think is not there on a concious level and for the most part is very healthy) slightly becomes negative for the entry level users

Il try along with V1 to clear misconceptions which i keep on seeing repeatedly.

How can we remove distiled water marks from metallic paint? One of my friend city have those marks. Is it possible to use any product and remove those marks?

Post pics of those spots an I`ll guide you, you might need to get into sanding an stuff......you have a rotary with you ? An some cutting pads ?

i dont have such vast detailing experince like u nor i have used 100's of brands like u , but i request pls again go through high lighted words in red.
i am really not expert like u and others on this thread but i am sharing u my personal observation,maf kerna bhai but in my view waxy touch and silky touch 2 differnt things, since natural waxes are breathable and seems to be melt into paint so moisturize the skin so touch waxy and soft where as syn waxes build a protective shield on the surface and not penitrate into paint and yes gives sleek , silky touch but missing wet and waxy touch. i never use term "dry wax" for syn but yes said contineous use feel like dry skin of car and my meaning with dry skin is lack of waxy touch, lack of moisturized touch and these findings based on my personal practicals by using turtle ice synth, megs nxt, 3m perforamce finish etc anyway i will also follow ur suggestion and test mother reflection range as well as request v1 would help me with practical examples mera bhai ab naraz na hona muj se as koi muj se naraz ho tu muje raat ko neend nahi atti sahee see:$
