Excellent job everyone... specially @vague_one for accomplishing this much in this little time... truely, every page of this thread is awesome and has a lot of info for noobs like myself... only 200 more pages to go until u guys hit 1000 and then there shud be some mega detailing events throughout Pakistan at the same time n date... celebration of a passion like no other....!!!

Have been reading your thread a lot and really appreciate your work, effort and skills. Moreover you detailing art work has indeed compelled many enthusiasts to look after their cars.

I gone through different charts posted on this thread regarding detailing. What I find is lacking is the product review and also type of products to be used according to condition, color and manufacturing year of car. Hope you take this suggestion seriously and make a thread or chart sorta with diff scenarios like new car should use the following recommended products.
Cars with scuffs and swirls should use following recommended products.

I'm sure amateurs detailers would admire ur effort.

Last but not least I asked whether I should apply GC first followed by mothers synwax or the other around. Unfortunately I got mixed suggestions. Can you be kind enough to give ur expert opinion.

paint sealents are comparitivly new in detailing world, its totaly man made products so fall in synthetic family.
paint sealents made of polymers which composed of ten of thousands of synthetic particulars that are linked togather. its bounding qualities lot stronger than natural waxes, once its bond with paint it forms a rigid shell. paint sealents sit on top of the paint like a trasparent film , like chrome plated effect , they are extreem glossy and slick.

the real streangth of paint sealents are its durability, long lasting protection, since synthetic so give deep mirror like reflections .

well purpose of carnauba waxes and paint sealents is same i.e shield the paint from uv rays, environmental pollutions and moisture the surface with excellent looks just differnce is sealents provides these qualities for longer time than natural waxes.

yes these sealents can be applied by hands or through dual action polisher, just do one pannel at a time, however rs5500 expencive
i would recommend you autofinesse sealent. ref my thread to see this sealent on my rides though applied 3 months streangth sealent but now autofinesse introduced new sealent with 6 months streangth ( wolfgang sealent having about 4 month streangth ).
dc crew site going to have wax shop and these sealents would be their at much competitive rates

autofinesse also having cleansing lotion which will de-wax ur car surface ( to remove older layers of waxes and sealents and prep the surface for sealent )

followed the following
Step 1 :washed car (turtle ice shampoo)
Step 2 :waxing (GC)
Step 3:applied turtle extra gloss (allowed it to haze around 3 hrs)
Step 4:Final wipe
i think the results are pretty good.experts opinion required.
The model of the car is 2002.
i more question at what stage i require a cleaners wax and claying.whats the current condition of paint?does it require any of them.
