My dear brother Usman, bas mujhey yeh samjhado, technically & logically that, HOW CAN A SYNTHETIC POLYMER (Inorganic) COMPOUND MAKE A STRONG CHEMICAL BOND WITH NATURAL (Organic) COMPOUND?

I agree its the personal choice/taste of LSP and i don't argue on that , but when it comes to layering sealants and waxes over one another; Its the matter of common sense that Sealant 1st. If u apply synthetic over carnauba, that wont last long and its durability would be compromised.. That's why sealant is recommended before carnauba.

I find it useless to discuss it further over here, unless some people change their attitude and try to swallow the information and understand it with logical and open mind, without bieng devil's advocate.

I agree with the chemistry def and dont disagree with you either thats why I said its usually better to apply the synthetic first followed by the carnauba and I also wrote that if you do a carnauba + synthetic + carnauba, it would def require more maintainence and thats because the synthetic doesnt bond as well. I though you would understand that.

Once again these things depend immensely on the paint type, paint condition, treatment etc. On a amateur level/ a weekly regular detail i think anything is doable.

u peopledont get :S off toba who says 26 cannot be used as a sealent :S first apply a good cleaner wax if ur car requires, second give it a applicate of wax / not syentatic pure wax give gap of a day apply 26 and it will perform as a sealent no problem for sealnt to come afterwards wax if wax is buffed properly ! stop talking post pictures aswell !

by my judgement u people talk much and dont give time practical, saray kai saray yahan pai starter hain aur mashwaray aisay dai rahay hain jaisay 20 saal ka experince ho detailing mai :S jab koi proffesinal like myself keh dai tou maan jaya karo imran, margallar, choi etc u guys should stop arguing and start some practical

Durrani bhai:),everyone has their own taste and like different types of results. the surfaces we work on are very different, i work on 13 year old oxidised single stage, so my main concern is that the wax should not be aggressive for the paint. that also means that i can not experiment with cleaner waxes. meri surface ki response aur hogi aur kisi aur ki car ki paint response aur hogi. jidhar aaye experience ki baat, i admit i am inexperienced. baki i wasnt part of that argument regarding sealant bla bla :), please excuse me

first GC then #26 after 2hr or 24hr
or
first #26 n then GC after 2 or 24hr?
so far em using both on weekly basis but this time em thinking to give it treat of #26,last coat was also of #26
GC is a dust magnet,attracts dust of a week in a day

u are right bro most of it it all depends on quality of paint how old the paint is and bla bla bla u are excused

bro i suggest 24 hour gap would be beter if the car doesnot go out for one day u know how much dust it is in pak i pf it goes outside the home then i guess 2 hours gap would help! v1 told me if u give the wax time to adjust itself to the paint after being buffed and then give another coat that would bring more depth to the paint!

proper treatment would be apply cutting compound meguiars only not a low quality one ! it will do the job after give that part a good wax

The reason why i refrain from posting from pakwheels. As far as the sealant goes the conversation was of synthtic vs natural not on a sealant.

since its just one car these days so it goes out pretty often all day thats why i dont get a chance to wax it either
but i think if 24hr is good then i can clean dust with mf next day n then apply another coat but

by the grace of Allah today detailed my ride with #26 paste wax and I fell in love with it. It is yummy just like butter
Results were awesome too. I like it more than GC. Application, removal and the final results GC got no match with #26.
