First memorize one thing: Polish removes a thin layer paint and the crap above it. Wax protects the paint like an orange is protected by its peel.

Have you ever seen paint with a lot of hard stains and no shine ? A polish is used for restoring the shine to the paint and also for removing stains, swirls, pollution along with a part of the paint. It comes second in abrasiveness after a compound and should only be used when necessary, for example, when you buy a second hand neglected car or when your paint starts to appear dull and you want the shine and look of the original paint to come back. Polishes can be applied by rotary buffers, dual-action polishers or by hand. Polishes do not give any protection so a layer of wax should be followed immediately after polishing.

After you've polished your car you wax it. Why? Because the paint surface is bare and there are more chances of getting swirls and oxidation. Do you know how fruits are protected? By their peels, shells etc. That acts as a sacrificial barrier between the eatable fruit and the air. Wax does the same thing. It protects your cars paint by providing a barrier between the airborne contaminants and the paint surface. Wax fills in the microscopic pores in the paint so that they don't get filled with dirt and other harmful stuff. Also, it causes water beading which is a test for wax presence. If the water flows down by spreading on the surface (forming large pools) then there is no/very less wax present.

The purpose of waxing and polishing is to ensure a high resale value, increase paint life, more protection, love for your car......and there are many other reasons.

after the earlier session of Mothers step - 3 and Meguire Quick detailer, the depth was literally visible and the skin gave a deep thick feel..a more solid feel id say...but somehow i really missed the glossiness.. as shared with you BB messenger...sharing the aftereffects of NXT 2.0 coat.. for your viewing pleasure please...

The Ice range in the newer an advanced range, my vote is for it, as far as clay bar is concerned, you want an aggressive or mild one ?

About a month ago I applied #26 on the car n covered the car.I got back home for eid. Today on 2nd day our aunt needed to be dropped back home but no other car was available at home so I was asked by my father to awake my 2nd wife (which is the name given to the car by my better half :D)
After removing the top cover I observed there was a thin layer of dust but after clearing that with mf cloth I fell in love with #26 again.
Let me add the dc mates also in the viewing pleasure. Please do say Ma sha Allah if you like the photo..
