dear detaling experts kya gari compound karwane se kisi kisam ka nuksan hota hai.like paint damage ya yeh sirrf gari ki pelahat(yellow colour) door karne k liye hote hai.mere pas mehran white 2010 hai and never compounded....
machine compound behtar rehta hai ya hath se or kitne paise normally daine chahyain sirf compund k...

Compound is terrible for the paint, actually the compound that the local ustads do is terrible whether they do it by hand or machine because they dont know the correct technique and use too aggressive compounds. the result is that sometimes they cut off so much paint that primer is exposed , that cant be good either for resale nor for looks. proper compounding isnt that harmful as what the locals do but even that should be avoided. its better to use cleaner wax t get rid of yellowness

dear as margallar bhai suggest you , pls dont use compound on 2012 car paint as compounds cut the clear coat layer on the paint, white is difficult colour to keep it real white so use cleaner waxes or max polish ( polish is mild action product than compound )

Glasurit is the manufacturer of car's paint.
so they know best car paint problem than us so read full in following link for ur own understanding

and read All Paint Defects section in above website and u all will get full INFORMED information regarding paint defects.

Remember Glasurit is not harsh compound it is only Fine polishing compound.which have no harsh chemicals like others.i have personally used all above mentioned Meguiars and Mothers ,Sonax and some other products BUT i find this one MOST EFFECTIVE.

But apply it with hand by using water to keep rubbing wet.

compound is used for paint that has its protective transparent layer(clear coat) lost and has lost shine. but metal/primer is not visible. if your car's clear coat is yellowish you must take expert advice by uploading photos. compounding a 3-4 year old car costs almost 500-700. it can do wonders if used right.

^ do not post wrong info please. Compounding can and is usually done on the clear coat to remove imperfections. just has to be done the proper way as expained above by margallar and ahmed bhai.
