Car couldn't start on petrol ! Advice required

Today my baleno JXR 2005 couldn't start. Also, I din't hear the fuel pump sound (mild Zzz sound) when I turned the ignition on. Can you please advise what to do considering I am a Layman and my car starts on petrol only. Further, I would appreciate if you can also advise the following;

1) What if I get my vehicle 'direct' - that I would be able to start my car directly on CNG too. Would it have any adverse / negative effect on the engine.

2) What are the best fuel pumps available in the market. I know about Kabli, but is there any economical brand that I can buy new?

Get a new good quality fuel pump and have it installed by a professional. You can start the on CNG directly by shorting pins on the back of conversion switch. An electrician may tell you exactly which pins.

bad fuel pump had same issue with my mehran ... change the fuel pump and it will resolve if you need a budget one go for china wala fuel pump but it wont last long.

short red and blue wire at the back of cng switch and you can start your car on cng although it might take longer than usual to start

Thank you guys, the problem was with the fuse, I got it replaced. Car is doing fine.
