Car deliveries Getting late Again Is Compensation rule still on?

Book a Suzuki Alto
Its been now 3 months
As i have heard that if a company fails to deliver the car in 60 days they gave you a compensation cheque
But as Suzuki showroom tells this rules has been finished
But don’t believe them a little bit
Someone knows any things about this or where to complain
Please let me know

Long time ago i've read somewhere in this forum somone booked a vehicle from a showroom they failed to deliver the vehicle for MONTHS got frustrated and when they asked for cancellation of booking Sales person told them there would be CANCELLATION CHARGES

And i booked it from suzuki burj motor faisalabad

Should they give me compensation cheque?
Because its a late delivery

They should as per law, but note sure. Even if they do, it's ater 2 months of delivery.

I was paid this compensation by Atlas Honda on the late delivery of my 2017 Civic.

Go to page 29 and 69 of the Ministry of Industries and Production policies where there is mention of compensation to customer upon failure to stick to the promised delivery date.:

me too by Atlas for 2021 civic... they gave a cheque of Rs. 23,000/-
