Car door speakers have reduced volume output after amp install

I own a honda civic 2019, the car door speakers work just fine when the sub and amp are not attached but when i plug them in, it feels like all the sound is coming from sub and car door speakers are barely working. What is the solution to this without incurring additional cost? Is there a way around this issue?

power wire directly from the battery, amp has a separate wire to the infotainment. the guy installing changed rc adapter which was not working. I don’t know further specifics but i can ask the guy who installed it for me. The car speakers do work but the volume is barely noticeable with sub, as the saying goes “speaker beth jate hain” i was wondering that if this is due to the amp, is there any way i can run them separately to avoid this issue?

Did your guy splice the subwoofer into the speakers?

im sorry i am not exactly sure what you mean by this. He didn’t touch any wires to the door speakers as far as i know but I’ll ask him about this

The speaker wires originate from the head unit in the dash, no need to even do anything in the door.

Do you know what amp you are running? What sub? And are the speakers wired to the amp or running directly from the headunit?

Need to see pics of the setup and the wiring to tell you what's wrong. Could be a number of reasons including bad wiring configuration

What city are you living in?

So what i assume is that you are running rhe speakers from the stock unit and the sub is powered from the amp because that's what I see in the pic, just the sub wire and 1 pair of rca's which would be for the sub

I'm also sure your installer has cranked that gain knob to get as much bass from that sub. That's the reason the sub bass drowns your speakers

Im living in rawalpindi, the thing is bass is good but the surround effect is lost as it feels like only the sub is giving all the sounds where as i would like it if the car door speakers were performing in their normal range and the sub would cover for the extra bass required.
Also, do you know any places for getting noise insulation for trunk in isb/rwp?

Please head over to soundvalley in pindi saddar. Talk to the owner Shehryar that I (Mustafa) sent you. He'll tune the setup for you.

The problem is, you're running the speakers from the stock headunit. If you had upgraded front speakers, you could have easily connected those to the amp too and that way, atleast the front stage would have matched the sub and you wouldn't feel the mids and highs getting drowned by the sub. The built in amps in stock headunits are not really that competent and factory speakers are pretty much useless when you push them since they're made of really thin flimsy paper with miniature sized magnets

He'll also do the sound deadening for you. I'd suggest you install the Caliber sheets which cost around 2500 each. 1 sheet just for the trunk lid is more than enough but you can go with 2 if you really want to isolate it, including the black inner padding
