Hi Everyone,
One of my hobbies is to browse cars online on PakWheels.
Out of the 100 inspection reports I've read so far, covering cars with mileage ranging from 20,000 km to 150,000 km, every single one of them mentions engine oil leakage and transmission oil leakage.
Even for eg; when I looked at a Suzuki Swift with a rating of 8.1, everything seemed fine except for the report indicating engine oil leakage. Upon viewing the pictures in the report, I noticed a bit of sludge around the engine exterior.
My question is, why do cars, even those with low mileage and hybrid cars, show signs of engine and transmission oil seepage so early on?
One of my assumptions is that it might simply be residual marks from a previous oil or oil filter change, which are mistakenly identified as leaks by the PakWheels inspection team.
Experts please advise.
