Dear pakweelers Assalam o alaikum
I am planning to buy car for long route from karachi to sargodha because i have job in karachi and i belongs to sargodha . And i am only driver because i travel with my family ( wife and two childs)
These are my requirment
1.Comfort .because i traver after every 3 to 4 months to meet my parent
2.economy
3.road grip
Note . This is my first car and my budget is 400000 to 500000
I and i know i dont buy a good indus corolla in my budget

In ur budget getting good condition Corolla 88 is v difficult......sunny 92 model can be found

Better get a car in 3.5 lac and spend remaining money to build her for ur taste as getting a trouble some car on such route can be dangerous

Then either increase ur budget or buy some newer model small car......even alto or cultus is comfortable and easy to maintain

As your requirments doesn't fit your current budget, my suggestion for you is that don't buy a car yet. Have some savings for a while and increase your budget upto 10-15 lakh. In the mean time, you should travel by bus or train. As you said you only travel from Khc-Sgd 3-4 months, so bus/train is the best option for you.

Out of all questioned Nissan sunny from 1997-2002 is the best in terms of ride comfort quality and safety
I think you won’t be able to find one in good condition from Punjab,try to find it from Karachi I believe you’ll for sure find a good one from there

city 2000 model you can fine in 500 to 600 k its best car for comfort also and road grip for long route.

WSalam - As you are planning to buy for a long route car which means more wear & tear, I would suggest to go for a vehicle who spare parts are easily available and are cheap. I would suggest Margalla, its very comfortable and lot of its parts are interachangeable with cultus. Plus like most Suzuki cars, its engine is simple and quite reliable (Dheet to be exact)

Sunny & Corolla are great cars but spares are hard to find, specially 88 corolla are very hard to find in good condition and almost obsolete. Recondition one are quite expensive.
