well dear friends!
I still stand by what am I saying, because this policy has been anounced by our prime minister in the news papers. and since then no anouncement has been made to discard the policy.

As far as your order is concerned It will be my PLEASURE to import for u but You HAVE to get that certificate I can't get for u, coz I m an Importer not in the disability check department.
and if you still believe that this policy doesn't exist then let me tell u one thing that the if policy has been discarded(which I believe not) it's just because of u people as u r not a disable person and still ordering.
One more thing if u have any solid proof that this policy has been discarded then u should clearly prove it (instead of making people CONFUSED).

If yasir realy IS a disable person and really INTRESTED in importing car with concession then he has to get the certificate from chamber of commerce, G-8 Islamabad(after many disability checkups). First he has to submit the application.

Well 1st of all let me clear u that i m a disable person, u can watch one of my posted topics with pix of mine and my hand driven bike, here is the link,

I think that wud be enof for u to believe me that i m disable person.

2ndly if u r still insisting that import for disable person with tax wave off is allowed than kindly provide me the S.R.O. or C.G.O. or any other order which contains the tax relaxation for the disable. It wud be very kind of U.

3rdly the matter of disability certificate, it is provided by the Federal Disability Board. Here under is the application form for that which clearly state that "FOR THE PURCHASE OF LOCALLY ASSEMBLED CAR".

I still don't have submitted this application for certain reasons, the main reason is that, some other disable PW told me that it is a hell of a task and at the end there is only a concession of 70000 on Honda city.
So according to this if i want to buy a honda city and if there is only concession of 70000 then i wud certainly not go for this scheme as if i can arrange 850000 than i shuld be able to arrange another 70000. So there is no point of such scheme.

So now if u say that to import a car the application shud be submitted to chamber of commerce. Then kindly guide me to the process, and give me contact of any relative concerned person.

Well Brother!
I m really sorry if I hurt u. And I really feel bad that I can't help u much. My point was that "this policy does exist", that's all. You r right that after many long procedures u can have concession of only few thousands. but that doesn't mean that policy doesn't exist. It is a fault of the policy makers not mine.
Now if u want to go for the policy I can just wish u best luck!
Because I can't guide u further more.

it says the concession is available for only locally available
cars not for imported ones, and ur point is that the car import for disable is still available. So then guide me to the process(if the car import for disable is available)

I told u what I knew. I have proved so far that this policy does exist or u can say that u have not proved that this policy has been discarded.

Duty free car import by the person with disabilities (PWDs)
ISLAMABAD - The Government has allowed import of custom-duty free new car having engine capacity not exceeding 1350cc by a Pakistani disabled national for personal use, says a press release issued by the Federal Board of Revenue.
The decision was announced under the notification no, SRO 277(1) 2010 dated 27th April 2010 of the Revenue Division, which has been taken in pursuance of the Government’s decision announced vide notification no 16(1)/2006 - Import II, dated the 28th September, 2009, issued by the Ministry of Commerce to allow import of duty-free cars for personal use of disabled persons aiming at overcoming the disability and fulfilment of criteria and conditions laid down in the policy,” it said.
According to the conditions, at the time of import of car the disabled person must have import authorisation certificate issued by the Ministry of Commerce in his favour. Moreover, only one car will be allowed to be imported by a disabled person and the car will not be sold or otherwise transferred to any person before the expiry of five years from the date of its arrival in Pakistan.

Is this is still valid? do we need to import new car or used car can be imported under this scheme? Does the car need to be modified in source country or we can import standard car and get it modified here according to the requirement of disabled person?
