I'm planning on buying a car in 3.5 million budget. Was considering Yaris before, but I already have a Honda city and now want a somewhat bigger car. The back seats of Yaris are too small, and then paying on money
to get it with registration might bump up the price to 3.3m on road. I do like yaris though, it has some good features but again its a little small and I don't like how it looks either.
I went out the other day to see some used civics and corolla 1.8. Was able to find a 2017 face-lift corolla 1.8 for around 3.6m. I did see a few civics too but most of them weren't in such a great condition for some reason. I also have heard about 2017-18 civics having steering rack and other issues which I want to stay away from. So leaning more towards the corolla only because I believe they're more reliable.
If looking at new cars, I can also go for an altis 1.6 auto.
I could probably stretch my budget enough in 2-3 months to get a new corolla or civic, but again I've heard they might be changing models in 2022 so was thinking by going for a used car, I could probably save some cash and down the road maybe change it and get the new shape or maybe some other car.
I'm not much of a car guy anyway so am not up to date with developments in the auto market. Would like to get some suggestions. Also if someone can give me an idea how much I should shell out for a 2017/18 grande or civic on the used market in Lahore?
