Car in 750,000/- Budget

Dear PW Experts,

I have a budget of 700,000 to 750,000. Previously i wanted to buy a Alto,Coure or Cultus but PW valuable members suggested me not to got for these craps. I tried to search for Honda City 2004-05 but i couldn't find any clean car, mostly are having engine problems and full of touch-ups.
So now my mind is diverted towards Liana, because i am calm driver and good at maintaining the car. I know many people have reservations about the car but in my budget i would be able to find a clean 2008 Liana atleast.

So now i want you experts to take me out of this dilemma and help me regarding buying a good car.
Your valuable suggestions are always welcomed!

Liana is a good vehicle for steady and clam people.
and remember if you treat your car good the car will treat you good too.

...its drive is amazing....like comfort...pick and space. as compare to local alto.... mehran...cultus...coure...santro.... i will post picture later...right now enjoying its drive.

Go for liana you can easily find a good liana 2005-2007 model in your range.

bhai go for city 05, do the repairs if required, trust me u will enjoy! atleast u will have peace of mind for 4/5 yrs ahead + the fuel consumption is awesome!

You're in Karachi, you can find a very nice 7th gen Civic Oriel in that price. The car is a better buy than Liana for a number of reasons, but most importantly unlike Liana, you wouldn't puke every time you look at it.

yar i doubt u can find a good 7th Gen Oriel for 7.5 Lakh Rs in Karachi

2005 ones with some heavy mileage done go for atleast 9 Lakh as far as i know

i hate to say it but Liana is the only option in this budget coz any Honda City for this price will be very old and/or abused

still Liana is much much better than Alto/Cultus

imho a zero meter 2000 City is better than a 2008 Liana specially in drive and looks

2000 Civic bohat hi door ki baat hai

my only concern is a 7+ year old car is very heavily abused
ofcourse one can get lucky and find a mint condition one if he searches hard enough

You guys must be right, I've never been in the Karachi market physically.

BTW, Born2Race bought a 2001 Oriel for around 720k in Karachi not long ago. It looked like a gem of a car.

Brother, Get a Vitz of models 2002/2003 !
Try to get a good condition which i am sure is possible...
Else find a Baleno 2005 perfect condition which will save you some money too.... Not a good 1300cc car but something available...
Platz 2003 and 2004 model is a perfect family car but a little down resale... Good japanese car in the price...
