Car Insurance or Steering/Chor Locks? Which would you prefer?

Hi fellows,
I am confused in getting my 2015 City insured or to just rely on locks or any other secure system.
My use of car is very limited as I am doing a rotation job so I feel that Insurance of 35-40 thousand and then paying the depriciation factor also is a bit too much.
And if I go for chor locks or some kind of steering lock, which is the best and most reliable against car thefts.

Chor lock will only prevent you from getting theft.

Insurance will cover theft as well as damages by road accidents.

In my opinion go for insurance.

Bro car insurance and chor locks / Steering locks are totally different things.
In car insurance, theft is automatically covered now a days, but the same is not true for vice versa.
GOD forbids, if any thief decides to get some vehicle stolen, no chor lock / steering lock can stop him. They are always one step ahead.
But if a car is insured, theft, accident and other things are automatically covered in it.
If a car is stolen, insurance can still give some benefit, however, just relying on chor locks / steering locks, if car gets stolen (GOD forbids), no compansation can be made.
I would suggest you to go for insurance, however, you can also keep a steering lock as an additional protection, but both cannot be compared in any aspect.
