Is this considered good beading? Pics were taken during rain and Formula 1 liquid wax was applied in the previous wash.

Looks pretty good to me. Only difference would be 845 is very very long lasting! And the reflections and depth you get is super. I would love to see collinite on a Mehran actually. I knew nothing about detailing when I had mine

I bought my mehran in dec 2016, it hada very dull shine. I actually bought it from bahawalnagar, where 99.5% of the people have no idea that there is a specific car shampoo, and just use the cheapest detergent. Compared to back then, the car is pretty shiny.

Did you clay it before applying wax?

Actually, no, because i couldn't find anyone that sells clay or does it. I went to dozens of car washes and when i mentioned clay bar, they all stared at me like i'm speaking chinese. One of them even handed me some car fresheners! I also couldn't find decent clay bars online. Btw, i live in Johar town Lahore.

Most of the front end had to be repainted, so it isn't rough feeling and shouldn't have that much contaminents, as after painting, the car didn't leave the city untill i had waxed it. The only area that does feel rough is the roof. Some relatives live abroad, so i might ask them to bring some clay bars.

You can order it from AliExpress I believe I have seen it there. Otherwise order this one "NANOSKIN AUTOSCRUB Sponge Fine Grade" from http://shop.luxeautospa.biz/

Or better yet, call them and discuss the whole thing with them. Sadly, they don't have collinite anymore. It goes for around 2600 on autohub.pk - I ordered mine from there. And since it's a super long lasting wax, I believe this will not only save you money but give you mindblowing results as well. Do tag me if you ever order and use collinite

There is a difference in water beading with tap water and rain water. Any ideas why?

Just washed my car, and i have to say, I'm impressed with Formula 1 liquid wax beading. The shine and beading is better in liquid version but hard wax lasts longer. Have you been to hyperstar? They sell some product by "Flamingo" company. Packaging looks good, have you tried it?
